When the Student is Ready...the Teacher Appears
I can't remember who recommended this book to me. It had to be someone I respect because I ordered it immediately. I took it on a trip this weekend and read it cover to cover on my flight. I will read it again, next time writing my notes in the margin and highlighting passages that matter most to me. It's one of those easy reading books that makes you think, makes you feel, and makes you smile.Into the Wind is a road experience with profound and amazing messages told from the heart. The themes, quotes, and object lessons of this young man's journey resonate with anyone who is searching for enlightenment in their life. They sure did with me. For a few years I have been feeling a fundamental shift. First, it was the burning need to be absolutely authentic. Now, it is to find the uniquely 'me' thing that the world needs now - and give it with my whole heart.I am a 51 year old executive female in the technical industry. I have 3 20-something kids and recommend this book to them, their friends, their parents, and anyone looking for clarity and inspiration. No matter your beliefs, this book has something for you. Thank you, Jake, for your fantastic book. I expect I'll be hearing more from you.

Disappearing into Jake's Journey
Months ago, maybe even a couple years, Jake sent a raw copy of this book to me to read. I remember starting it at the time, however I seemed to be involved in whatever was going on around me. I was not much for computer reading either, and a combination of these things resulted in me not give his writing the attention it deserved at the time. I remember speaking to Jake months later, and realizing that I had still not finished the work! I searched through my computer, my email, and our messages back and forth intending to find this work he has put so much of himself into, and at my dismay I could not find it anywhere. I honestly was too embarrassed at the time to say anything to him about not being able to locate the original document, and trusted it may have been with reason. Now, a finished masterpiece is at the hands and disposal of every person with hands, eyes, and the means of acquiring this work of art! I wanted to support Jake (having met him in person once before and spoken multiple times, he is just a truly amazing person) and bought a copy for my Dad for this coming father's day. This past weekend I received the copy, and simultaneously was inspired to take a sabbatical from technology for the day. Wandering around doing laundry and wondering what to do with the time that I would normally spend networking and developing my artistic business, I had spotted Jake's book laying on the floor waiting to be wrapped and realized that I still had yet to read the entirety of this work of art. I decided to use my time to do so, and discovered the book was just that: A true work of art.I read "Into the Wind" cover to cover, immersed into the storyline and invigorated by the journey of a man who traveled here and there to find that everything that he was looking for was actually located inside himself. Jake's tale of his journeys takes the reader on an unexpected adventure where his detailed descriptions and subtle recognitions really paint a clear story that is so easy to get lost in. A closeness with all the characters develop, from the woman who appears once in the storyline as Jake is leaving the beach, to the Shaman in Guatemala whom Jake ended up helping to fund his idea for a children's school. I was blown away by the entire tale, and left with a message to contemplate within my own life which I believe was Jake's intention: That everything that I need is within myself, and there is no better time to start pursuing my dreams other than this present moment.I've been an artist for over a year now, having discovered a similar message which inspired me to pursue my own dreams (funnily enough after doing some traveling myself). Reading Jake's story was a wonderful reminder to return my faith to my own self, and my dreams; rather than focus on what the others around me might be saying. It's a funny thing that I've found, that in doing what I love, those who love me seem to have their own input on what I should do and how. I also get emails from all types of business related advocates, programs on how to run a business, etc. that can be overwhelming at times. Of course, this was one of the reasons why I had chosen to take a sabbatical this past weekend; to connect to myself and be reminded of my own dreams and goals. In ironic timing (of course the universe acts this way!) I was able to do these things and more, also with the help of Jake's book to remind me that I do indeed only need my own internal radar as a guiding force to manifest these dreams my heart thrives on!It is with this I say, if would like to be inspired to pursue your dreams than definitely read this book. If you are already pursuing your dreams and would like a reminder and further inspiration, definitely read this book. I feel anyone could benefit from the message contained within these pages, as it comes from a place of which we are all connected to. Thank you so much Jake for sharing your story with the world!

A Beautiful Soul
Jake's story is unique and inspiring beyond words. We're privileged to follow him on his journey to self-discovery. To think that at such a young age he felt the call for much more meaning in his life provides hope for our future. Our world is changing because of the minds and hearts of people like Jake Ducey. When my children are ready, I will place this book in their hands. I stumbled upon Beau Norton, another young author, who led me to this book. I am grateful, for the messages in this book are simply beautiful.

Wow
I stumbled upon Jake Ducey's Youtube channel a few months ago and after watching a few of his energetic and blissful videos knew I had found someone with a powerful experience, message, and spirit. Since then I have been following him on Youtube and Facebook, being inspired and uplifted by his doses of inspiration, the entire time anticipating the release of his book, Into The Wind. The day it came out on Amazon I happily purchased a copy, knowing I was supporting someone who had genuine intentions towards inspiring individuals to shift their lives in order to follow their wildest dreams. Before reading the book I just knew it would be transformational and would have an impact on many people who were willing to receive the message. Instead of reading the whole book in one sitting, which I was tempted to do, I read it slowly over two weeks, so that I could have time to reflect on each chapter, each of his experiences shared, and fully process his message and interpret it in my life. I just finished reading it a few nights ago and a one word review from me would be WOW. WOW! This book is so beautiful, intentional, genuine, well written and gently powerful. I relate to so much of Jake's experiences and chapter through chapter I found myself smiling, laughing, and tearing up at his experiences of travelling the world to find himself. I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age who is seeking a push to follow their dreams, start living in bliss, living a life of self love and acceptance and trying to change this world. I have a long list of friends and family I am going to lend this book to, and as soon as they are done I am looking forward to reading it again. Thank you Jake for walking your Path with courage and love and sharing it with us!

A solid read.
I like this book as I have had similar experiences. Ultimately I believe everything is inside, but a journey around the world still has high value no matter how spiritually evolved you are. Very light read, felt like the book ended suddenly. It was only 99 cents.

excellent!
This is the inspiring message the world needs right now. An easy and uplifting read which I devoured in one day. Jakes story has so many nuggets of wisdom to savour and contemplate, the likes of which you would expect to find from a seasoned spiritual master. I am so grateful for his serendipitous journey that he could share with us. It was just what I needed to read in the depths of my depression resulting from anger and resentment. Thank you.

Awesome Read!
I purchased this book after first discovering Jake's inspiring video's on YouTube & wanting to discover how he has clearly become so enlightened. This is a wonderful story told in a captivating fashion. There aren't many occasions that I find myself unable to put a book down after reading a few chapters but this was one of them & I had the book finished within two days such was the quality of his work. I look forward to hopefully seeing future title's by this clearly very talented young author.

inspirational
The book was written in a way that every single person can relate to it. You don't need to be a traveler to understand that the change comes from within you. For those who are considering traveling in order to find their purpose of life this book will be as a kick up the bottom to go and do it!

Wonderful book
What a lovely book, full of pages that cause you to think about life and the way we need to not worry so much, about small things. Its message was "go for it", as now is all we have.
