Toastabags Pizzamesh Tray

I got these to cook pizza with home made base. The success of my previous attempts have always been dependent on my ability to scoop the uncooked pizza onto a paddle and then slide it off onto a pizza stone in the oven. Perhaps if I made pizza every night, I would get a good technique and this would not pose a problem, but I don't make it enough to come down the learning curve.These are great. You can lay your stretched dough onto the mesh and load it with toppings, then easily transfer it to the oven (I initially bought 2 and then went back for another 2 I was so impressed with them). The mesh seems to allow for good cooking of the dough when set on an oven shelf (as opposed to a stone) and when lifting the cooked pizza out, the mesh is almost immediately cool enough to touch. The base does not stick to the mesh, so it's easy to take off before cutting. They're also easy to clean.

We had one of these trays previously, but it went 'missing'. I think it got put in the household rubbish by mistake! The new mats came promptly and were well packaged. Pizza time is here again. The mats work perfectly and are exactly the right piece of kit for the job. I now have to make sure I don't accidentally throw the new ones away. Excellent value.

Fantastic little thing, takes up no space in the oven to store and cooks far better than any metal pizza tray.Always find the metal ones allow the pizza to sweat and then end up sticking on the base, not this, crisps up the base lovely and the pizza just slides straight off.Cleans in the dishwasher and honestly doesn’t even need that half the time, just a quick rinse in soapy water and it’s done.Don’t know what the review saying you can’t use it more than 5 times is about, we’ve purchased a second one of these within the last 6 months as before that we were cooking pizzas one at a time, the first we bought has been with us over 3 years and is used on average once a week, still the same as the day we bought it.We’ve also used this to cook part bake rolls and samosas/spring rolls on although if your cooking multiple, especially the party sized ones you will need to have a tray/plate at the ready as you pull this off the shelf so you don’t lose them as the mesh is obviously not solid.

Per la cottura in forno della pizza vanno bene, peccano solo per il fatto che, non avendo nessun bordo, bisogna essere limitati con gli ingredienti che tenderanno a sciogliersi. In alternativa faccio la pizza alla napoletana per ovviare a questo problema.

Per quanto riguarda spedizione e tempo di consegna, tutto ok, ma, per quanto riguarda invece il prodotto,mi aspettavo almeno più fogli da poter ritagliare a piacimento, non solo una formina rotonda e basta. Nella descrizione non è così chiaro! La pizza non viene diversa da quella fatta in una teglia qualsiasi! Non l'ho rimandata indietro perchè non ne valeva la pena. Per me sconsigliabile!
