Women's 711 Sandal

I have been looking for sandals that are comfortable, cute, and had a little bit of a heel. These fit the bill perfectly! I just got them in the mail yesterday and I am so pleased with them. I've even sent the links to 2 of my coworkers because they have trouble finding cute comfy shoes and I'm sure they'd love this.I have wider feet and usually wear a size 7/7.5. I got the size 38 and they fit perfectly. They are super light because of the cork and I keep thinking that these are so much better than Birkenstocks, which, in my experience, although they offer arch support, are so hard and heavy that I feel my feet are still sore after (and almost like my feet have to work harder because they are heavier). I think these will be my staple summer shoes--they work great with sundresses (wearing one now), shorts (tried them on last night), and capris. I think they'll also look cute with skinny jeans. I've gotten many compliments today which just makes me feel great about this purchase. Plus, my feet feel great AND it shows off the great pedicure I got last week. So, yes, I highly recommend these! I plan on getting another pair :)

I'm one of those people that likes to try shoes on before buying so I was kind of nervous about the fit of these, especially after reading the other reviews. These were as described -- lightweight and so comfortable from the moment I put them on.I found that these were true to my Euro size, so if you know what your euro size is, then sizing shouldn't be a problem.I have been living in these all summer and so far the only con I can foresee is that the material used on the sole is pretty lightweight -- after wearing them for a couple of months, the sole is already starting to grind down from use.Other than that, I love these shoes. (I want them in every color and style!) They give just enough heel height without being uncomfortable, and they go with everything. And despite being grandma shoes, I have received so many compliments on them (?!)

I own two pair of these sandals already (white and red). In the photos, my original shoes are the white and I ordered the black. Here’s what I found, they are completely different:The original shoes: the leather is soft, comfortable, has a little stretch, buttery, shiny. There is an arch support. They are made in W Germany. The size 40 fit my shoe size of 8.5 (US size)The new shoes: hard leather, uncomfortable and matte finish. There is no arch support (see photo). They are made in Portugal. The size 40 was too small, by about 1/4” but a difference in not fitting.The shoe in the Amazon pictures is not what you’re getting. Very disappointed. I had to return as they were too uncomfortable. I will cherish the two pair I already own.

I bought a pair of these because I was looking for sandals that were cute enough to wear with dresses but comfortable enough to hold up to entire days of walking on an upcoming trip to Europe. These were perfect! I wore them on every non-rainy day of my trip, and both my feet and the shoes held up excellently. I bought a second pair in a different color, too--that's how well they worked out.If you are unsure about sizes and have wide feet, I would order up. My mom and I both wear an 8 1/2 normally, but when she tried on my size 39 Worishofers, they were a tad too small, so she got herself a pair in size 40. Her feet are wider than mine, so that is probably what made the difference.

I admit, I had to ask a friend if these sandals were old-lady-cute or just plain-old-lady sandals. He came down firmly on the side of old-lady-cute, and I think he's right. They definitely are comfortable right out of the box, and very lightweight. My only concern is the leather feels somewhat thin, like it may crack or peel or otherwise look messed up fairly quickly around the ankle strap buckle where it gets the most stressed from strapping them on and off. Time will tell though, so I may come back and give another star depending on how well they hold up.

These were billed as comfortable. Not!!! The pitch is bizarre, there is no platform at the front to even your stride, and the leather is cheap and scratchy. These went into the Goodwill box after the function for which I purchased them. If I had not been so squeamish about returning worn products, I would have sent them back. The Worishofer folks sure have their advertising campaign down cold. They fooled me!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. They are ugly-chic and are the most comfortable shoes I own. Like a previous reviewer posted, these shoes are the best for travelers and city walkers.I usually wear 39 or 8.5 but I wear 40 in Worishofers. I don't really think they are ugly, but they are not overtly cool to most people. I've been wearing them for years, and for all you folks on the fence about them, give them a try. I was in Greenpoint, Brooklyn last week and all the stylish young ladies were wearing them. They go with everything and you will want to have them in every color. I have them in red and tabac, and I'm about to order them in navy.

I had a pair of these exact shoes about 5 years ago and wore the heck out of them. I have flat feet and decided to try them again for this spring/summer. They are every bit as wonderful as I remember. I don’t know why I waited so long to replace them. They will be worn regularly. I’m usually an 8.5 and ordered a 9 (39). They fit well. One note is the straps do tend to stretch out and I remember on my old pair punching holes into straps to tighten them. But if you have flat foot probs like me, you won’t mind that because your feet never hurt.

Love this brand of sandals! It is comfortable and stylish for me. I wear them almost all year round, maybe not the severe winter months but with a pair of thick socks, it's doable till Nov/Dec. I try not to wear them in the rain as the base of the sandals gets rather dirty1
