Using this light in my camping/ice fishing tent. Very much enough brightness, too brightness on max. Not sure on battery life yet but did use it for two hours straight and works awesome

I own 3 of these and use them for camping. Absolutely love them! Something to note, the remotes are not programmed to one light, they are on the same channel so to speak. Aka if you have multiple lights set up, you can turn them all on or off with any of the remotes at the same time. Or at least the 3 I have do it. Works out for me. The lights last a long time on high brightness setting. I ran one for something like 8 hours straight on my last camping trip and the battery indicator said I still had half battery life remaining. The diffusing lense does a good job and it doesn't feel annoying like some single point lights are. If you need even longer run time, the light can be on while plugged into a power bank and charging as well.

First, I love my gadgets!! Second, I like to make sure that I have want I “need” to be comfortable. We tent camp in “rustic” no electricity sites in the Smokies for a week at a time, so I bring a ton of gear. I am that one campsite that random people stop by and either ask about my set-up or where I get everything. We put a pop-up canopy over our picnic table and lighting is always an issue. I have some very bright lanterns that attract all kinds of flying insects. Looking to change that up this year, I was looking for something with a yellow or amber light with a remote control, since I wanted to hang it from the top of the canopy. This was a really great product for what I was looking for. The remote does have a learning curve, so follow the directions and play around with it before you need to actually use it. I also found that I either needed to be a certain distance or aim in a slightly different direction, but there again, I consider that just learning how to best use it. Also, make sure that you leave the light on at the actual unit for the remote to work, but I think the directions state that. While it didn’t completely eliminate the bugs, it cut them down by about 99.5%. We still had 2-3 around the light when it was on with the low white/yellow (not a true yellow), but considering my other lanterns while attract a few hundred bugs, this was a win!! I plan on purchasing a couple more of these because of the remote control feature.

I was looking for some rechargeable mobile lights that have a warm light setting instead of just the harsh cold white LED lights you see in most products these days. I settled on this one by Sivton and a similar model by Fogeek. Both lights have magnets on top as well as hooks that let you hang the light high in a room and provide plenty of light, but what separated the Sivton model for me was the added remote. That makes it much easier to turn the light on and off as well as switch between light modes and light intensity. However the one major drawback is the flashing-red light mode you have to scroll through when switching between light modes. Once you've settled on what type of light you prefer though (ie warm or cool), you can just leave it on that setting without have to deal with the red light. Then you just use the remote to turn it on or off, dim or brighten. Battery life seems good so far, but haven't fully tested it's length on the brightest setting yet.

The media could not be loaded.  This is very small - the base is the size of my palm. Definitely smaller than I expected but it’s so cute and convenient!It gives off great light - by no means is it a replacement for a really good flashlight, but it provides better light to walk with than my phone flashlight, and the clip on the top makes it easy to clip just about anywhere. I used it walking around the campsite at night, as well as clipped at the top of the tent. Because the base of the lantern is the light, you will be blocking most of the light if you set it down on something - for best use, it should be hanging. I love that it dims and has a warm and cool lighting setting. The bright red flashing light is rather jarring but would be good in an emergency situation!My one word of warning is that the battery doesn’t retain for long in storage. I had no issues with it dying between uses when taking it on a camping trip, but it was fully charged about a 6-8 weeks ago before I put it in our camping supplies bins, and when I pulled it out to use it the first night, it was completely dead. Not a big deal, just good to know it MUST be charged close to the time you’ll use it.Video attached showing the different modes, and at the end I flip it to show how the light is the entire base. This light is awesome! It is bright, it is small, the battery lasts a long time. IT HAS A REMOTE! It has several brightness levels. It is bright enough it can be used for reading at night. But as great as that is, the best part is when you are done reading and ready to go to sleep, you don't have to get out of bed to turn off the light. I LOVE THAT!

Only dropped stars because the remote only works about half the time for me and was the entire reason I went with this over others.

obviously, this lantern was designed to auto turn off completely after some idle time to save power ( in few hours ), then the remote control function is gone until you press buttons to wake it up.
