It came with all the screws and parts needed, installed easily And is pretty fast. No issues at all. Now that I've tried it I'm going to get a second one for another drive.

If you are on the fence about this one because like me you weren't sure if it comes with any hardware then rest assured that it indeed does. Two nuts and one screw are included. Not only that but I used this with a brand new Crucial MX500 m.2 to clone my OS and it took a paltry three minutes to clone with Acronis True Image cloning software that was included with the brand new Crucial drive. That is unbelievably fast! I've cloned hdd to ssd on both macs and windows using a usb 2.0 adapter and it is painfully slow, up to 2 hours in some cases. So it was nice to use this 3.0 adapter to clone from m.2 to a larger m.2 through the 3.0 port. Blazing fast. Very happy. Now I can keep the smaller drive attached to this as a 128gb m.2 thumb drive. This is the cheapest m.2 to usb 3.0 adapter I could find here on Amazon, but the build quality is solid, it comes with two nuts and a screw (even though it doesn't say that anywhere in the details), and it works perfectly! If you're on the fence, just get it. It's the cheapest one, very quality build, comes with everything you need and most importantly gets the job done.

These are for NGFF drives not NVME drives. I needed one to back up data off an old Lenovo P50 that wouldn't boot that has an M.2 NGFF drive. Worked great. I order a second one because I took the adapter to work and accidentally washed it when I left it in my pocket. The one I washed still works too. I just wanted one that hadn't been submerged in water. I basically use it as an external USB drive now. Works great for transferring data between machines.

Very easy to use

I had expected the data access to the SSD would be at least as fast as USB 3.0 but found it to be noticeably slower. While it facilitated the needed stored data transfer... the speed was a bit frustrating.

I Plugged it into the usb3 drive with an M.2 SSD onboard while using Mini-tool partition wizard Got scorching hot within a minute and cooked the drive . I don't know if I did something wrong , but very dissapointing
