A magic kit was the number one thing requested by my daughter for her birthday. The hat, cape, & gloves fit a 7-year-old well with a little room to grow. The wand is sturdy and looks like the real thing. The plush bunny is adorable. All of the other components look like those a real magician would have.We put in the DVD and received an error message, it would not play. That's when I checked the reviews and found that many people have had the same disappointment. Fortunately, my husband thought to try it in his computer, and VOILA - it plays! The DVD is specifically formatted for computer viewing only. So you can't watch it on a traditional DVD player hooked up to your TV, but on your computer it runs perfectly. The only disappointment my daughter had was realizing that magic is all slight of hand, there is no enchantment involved! But we all get to learn that some day! ;)Fortunately, the instruction is great. It will take her a while to understand some of the more involved tricks (like those involving playing cards) but there are a few she can easily master right away (the coin trick, coloring book, disappearing silk fabric). My older kids 9-13 could easily master the tricks - and want to! But the 7-year-old will pick them up over time. I would absolutely recommend this.

I got this set because my 4yo wanted a magician's hat and cape...little did I know, I was about to learn magic. This set is absolutely amazing! The pieces (both the costume and props) are great quality and we have so much fun playing with it. I watched the how-to videos and love that it not only shows you how to do the trick, but also gives you an idea of the set up for it...it's very awkward for a beginning magician to tell the story or make the joke that gives them the time and opportunity to perform slight of hand without being obvious. I can't say enough good things about this. I love the fake coin, the one you can "bite" and take a piece out of...it is so cool and fun and has a great "wow" factor! The thing I love most of all, though, is the magic coloring book trick...so simple and so impressive. Seriously, I could go on all day, or you can just click add to cart and see for yourself.

Everything inside is awesome! My 4 year old especially loved the plush bunny, but was disappointed that it didn’t turn into a real bunny when saying “abracadabra.” Haha! The only downfall is that there was NO DVD in our order & my kiddo was really looking forward to that part. Would have been more worth it if it included the DVD that was advertised. Thrilled with everything else that was actually included.

The little guy that received this as a gift looked absolutely adorable in the hat and cape.

This is what my granddaughter asked for from Santa, so we couldn’t send it back even though there were no instructions on how to do tricks and there were several things missing. She did enjoy the cape, hat and gloves.

I got this gift for my 8 year old so he could do a magic trick for his class. Well when I opened the box they did not have the DVD like it was stated on the box. I even looked for a book to read but that was not there neither. They had a QR code to scan but that did not work. The website was not working for it. The wand was broken as well. It was a waste of money for this kit.

THIS WAS FOR OUR 3 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER AT CHRISTMAS. OMG! THIS WAS TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY. WE ALL HAD SO MUCH FUN AND LAUGHS AT CHRISTMAS AND CONTINUE TO HAVE FUN AND LAUGHS. IT REALLY MAKES HER FEEL LIKE A TRUE MAGICIAN. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. I’M NOT FOR SURE EVERYTHING CAME IN THE PACKAGE, BUT THE CAPE, HAT AND WAND WAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORTH IT!

We got this kit so my daughter could perform magic in a talent show. It says it comes with step-by-step instructions for each trick, but it does not. They have a QR code that I’m assuming used to lead to instructions, but now leads to a page that says that this Link no longer exists. The box also says it comes with a DVD with someone showing you how to do the tricks, but there wasn’t one at all.Another issue I had was that all of the stitches in the color changing scarf came out within hours of taking it from the box. We weren’t too rough with it, it’s just very cheaply made. Super disappointed!!

This pack of magic is awesome, my daughter absolutely loves it. The tricks are easy to learn and the outfit is great (the cape has become a regular wardrobe choice in our home for her). Would recommend as a gift for the harder-to-buy-for kids, who doesn't love a little magic?

Llegó a tiempo y cumple con lo que dice, solo que no fue muy adecuado para regalarlo a un niño porque algunos trucos son complicados y el CD solo viene en inglés así que mi pequeño no pudo entenderlo el solo.Creo que buscaría otra opción más sencilla.

Très bel ensemble d apprenti magicien. Tout qui sont facile a réalisé et de plus, le déguisement de magicien rend l enfant encore plus confiant et fier de lui. J ai bien aimé

QR codes? I dunno what it’s called. My husband was able to to watch the videos. I googled on you tube and found a few. My 5 year old son loves it it’s so cute, has some pretty good magic tricks in it. My favorite is the colouring book, my sons favourite is the finger one. Some tricks aren’t THE best but for the price - I recommend we had lots of fun and he will probably grow into the other tricks
