Awesome while it worked. Remote wouldn't connect.
Pros:In short this car is fast, fairly well built, and in a class of its own compared to the walmart RC cars we usually buy. The remote control is way cool because you can change the speed, and turn radius of the car. I was able to drive it at full speed outside, and in a big room. But my 8 year old had to turn the speed down. The control is amazing and so is the power. We had fun spinning cookies, popping wheelies, and jumping it.If this car didn't break down 3 weeks after we bought it, I'd give it 5 stars.Cons:The first day one of the plastic rods that holds the car body in place with a pin, broke. We didn't do anything crazy to cause it to break. Also, the front wheels would sometimes jam when turning. We'd have to rotate the wheel to get it to unjam - not that big of deal though. The worst part came after 3 weeks. The remote wouldn't connect to the car. We charged the batteries in the car, replace batteries in the remote - turned off and on a million times, moved the control levels in different positions - nothing. I noticed other reviewers had the same problem. It's a shame really... it was a great car while it lasted, and now it's $15 more than when we bought it. I'll try another brand for fear of the same problem happening.

It's a really complete RC car starter kit
So I bought this as a gift for myself this Christmas.I haven't had a RC car since I was a kid and I'm pretty excited with how far the technology has come. This kit has everything you need to charge and drive. The are batteries for the remote, 2 lithium batteries for the car, a usb charger cord, screwdriver, instructions and multi-socket tool. A nice bonus is that there is a real, functional, spare tire on the back of this model! The remote has a really comfortable grip and cushion on the steering knob. What really blows my mind is that you can adjust the steering trim, turning angle and max speed from your remote. I didn't even know that was possible and wouldn't have expected it at this price( $65). All the RC cars I had before you had to manually adjust the steering at the axle. It's fast and you get alot of run time with the 2 included lithium ion batteries. I honestly would recommend this as a gift for anyone looking to get started in the RC cars hobby.

Goes fast, and goes through grass
This was the second RC car I bought for my daughter. The first was a cheaper and lesser model just to get her a little familiar with how to operate. That car couldn't go through grass which limited to just sidewalk and driveway use, which wasn't so much fun. Then the steering control piece fell out so the steering got very loose. We both decided just to cut our loss and upgrade to this model and WOW what a difference. Seriously, just spend the extra money and skip the $30 cars. The two best things about this RC car are that it goes through grass (Fast too!), and its pretty tough. I like to think our lawn is pretty lush, so I'm not just talking about bare patched yard. It will go through a thick lawn. We launch it off objects as high as our trampoline and it seems to hold up. Front bumper is remarkably solid too for being plastic and even though its had quite a few front end crashes still looks really good. This car is very fast, so be warned for a new user or child who might be too young, you might want to look for something a little slower. Otherwise, it's a blast.

Scrappy, responsive RC Car is a hit!
The media could not be loaded. This little RC car has been through much abuse in our back yard, as you can see from the photos (lodged stick and leaves), and it still works great. When I first opened it I was a bit skeptical that it would be worth the price, but after a while of trying it out, I think it is absolutely worth it! Here are my impressions:Responsiveness. The car's response to remote control changes is immediate, which is fun when there is a lot of dirt to skid out on.Turning radius. The turning radius is pretty tight, allowing for quick turns.Balance. We did everything we could to get this thing to turtle. It handles jumps staying upright, and most piles of rubbish and ballast. It was pretty difficult to get it to flip over.Speed. Now this is the fun part - this thing is SO FAST! It literally speeds away from you and if you have a big open space to race it, you can really have a lot of fun.Durability. The car has been through all kinds of crashes and scrapes, and functions perfectly well. The top is even still shiny b/c as I said before....it very rarely flips over.Battery. I think the battery life is about average.Ages. Our boys are 4 and 7 and we all fight over this car. Great for kids, great for adults, and brings a lot of laughs because of how zippy it is!Hope this helps with your purchase decision! Our whole family loves this RC car (including a 4yr old and 7 yr old)!

Love this product
Looks great. Nice size 12 inches x 8 inches. Photo shows size comparison.Plenty of speed and power for its size. Can do very tight spinouts and it is fast ! I would say the price is very good.Easy to control and maneuver. The spring action with shock absorbers on all four wheels makes the vehicle more flexible. The only downside is the four clips, that hold the body to the frame, are extremely tiny. Make sure you remove the clips on a smooth surface, so as not to lose them. Extra clips, wheel tool and a small screw driver in included for maintenance. Also make sure not to overheat the motor when running in hot weather. Keep it clean after use. Check screws for tightness. I like to add a small amount of household oil, for the moving parts.Having extra batteries are helpful to keep the fun going.I would definitely recommend the manufacturer come up with a different way to hold to vehicle body to the frame without using the tiny clips. Otherwise it is a great product and so much fun to use.
