Great Universal power supply!
I'm very happy with this power supply because it is adjustable and I can test it with any different products that I need to test or plug in and just dial in the right voltage it's really cool highly recommend this part

You Need(ed) or Will this Power Supply
Solid and accurate. I have this semi-perm bundled with a similar sized volt-ammeter to test LV LED (pkg to 5 or 12V), charging packaged "lost brick" items temporarily and other short-term supervised uses. Excellent value and much smaller and useful than a large ultra-regulated knob & button covered box that click-clacks & flashes. Wall (120V) cord a bit short & knob covers wide range so touchy, but not loose and amazingly unvariable voltage (based on external meter) Amps output dependant on draw from whatever it's connected to. Similar products offer less range and price equal or exceeding this AlloverPower unit, longevity unknown but has handled brief shorts and remote interrupt (OV shutoff) well. Plugs are good quality and very helpful. One of honest: Buy this now you need or will soon need project, handiman, hobby or 'where's that pwr brick' (wired to + center) must haves.

Great for the money and for the right project.
Now you can spend crazy money for a good AC/DC variable power supply (VPS) for the bench but in a pinch you can try one like this. I, like many of you, have boxes of adapter bricks but can't find the one I need when you need it. That is where this little device comes in. In my case I needed the right voltage for a little Sony Camcorder that I was gifted. Now I tested this VPS before I plugged it in to make certain the voltages where good, and it was fine. I set the VPS for 7.2 volts checked the voltage, it was ok and then connected it to the camcorder. It all was good for the first 20-30 min and then the voltage started drifting. I needed to tweak it to keep it within the range of 6.8 - 7.5 volts. Now when I adjusted the dial to put it in range it was very finicky and a pain. So, if it works for you on your project, great! Or if you have the money get a good digital VPS. Good luck. R.

Adapter for variable voltage
I wanted an adapter to control voltage on miniature incandescent bulbs on a model to a very precise voltage (22.5 V) and found this inexpensive power supply which turns out to be precisely controlled to 0.1 V and easy to install, use, and read. Users needing a specific voltage should note that the voltage changes under load (due to basic electronics) but the continuous adjustment makes it easy when the load is connected to slowly dial up to the desired voltage. Surprising bargain for such versatility.

Very difficult to make fine voltage adjustments
I used this to control the speed of a small DC motor. When trying to make small voltage adjustments, the voltage would change by as much as 1.5v or more. Forget about 0.1v changes, 0.5v changes took some fiddling. It did hold the voltage steady once set.

great product
Great product so far. Very responsive and works well. The power dial doesn't always display the correct volts when it's first turned on, but will after a second.

Great universal adapter
This has saved me a ton of money texting different electronics. Just plug it in and tune it to whatever wattage you need, and you're good to go
