has a good, reassuring weight to it
I've been on the lookout for a high quality stainless steel baking tray for sometime and this "heavy duty" Lindy's tray is just the ticket! The one I received was in pristine condition, has a good, reassuring weight to it, and has the Lindy's logo embossed on the bottom (flat). My fridge magnet doesn't stick to it at all, unlike it does to my quality Viners stainless cutlery, so I hope this isn't a bad sign, although I note that the magnet also doesn't stick to my quality stainless steamer (bought from John Lewis) or to the side of my stainless saucepans. I'm primarily using it to grill (broil) boneless chicken breast (brushed, using teaspoon, with extra virgin olive oil, adding freshly ground black pepper and sea salt), sometimes with Ore-Ida crinkle fries, turning both over after a good few minutes (once chicken has cooked to a degree on top), then after a few minutes, two additional turns at sixty seconds (fries through 90°, then over (180°), removing ones that have cooked quicker). I've also used it to bake Mrs Paul's Lightly Breaded Haddock Fillets (recommended; from frozen), at 400°F, turning at 13 minutes, and surrounding with Ore-Ida fries, turning both after another ten minutes, then just turning fillet after five minutes, with final five minutes cook time (total cooking time 33 minutes). Although the tray buckled a little bit, it was hardly anything to worry about.A big reason I wanted a stainless steel tray was so it could be 100% cleaned (no staining my light tea towel) and indeed, sometimes with the assistance of Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty scrub sponges (in the green/yellow packaging), and if necessary, a little neat washing up liquid, one can achieve a perfectly clean surface. I Initially had hoped I could just soak it in very hot washing up water, cleaning it with only a non-scratching plastic scrubbing brush, thus retaining the pristine look, but alas, this wasn't going to fly, and you just have to live with the light scratches you get from the Scotch-Brite sponges, which isn't a big deal (I would not recommend using anything tougher as this would likely scratch the hell out of it).

I like it - solid, shiny, smooth and easy to clean, but mine did warp at 450 with contents not totally covering the pan.
I like almost everything about this pan, but mine has warped like so many of the others. It did not warp right away - I roasted veggies on it at 350-400 degrees probably 10 times before using it to bake slices of eggplant with olive oil at 450. My guess would be it was a combination of the higher temps and that the eggplant slices were so thin, making it closer to having an empty pan in the oven than when filled with veggies. When it came out warped I quickly took off the food, stuck it back in for a minute to heat back up, and then took it out and put my cast iron dutch oven on it on a flat surface, and I do think that it took out some of the warp. It is still usable and hasn't gotten worse, but I've not used it over 375 since then.It seems pretty solid and is shiny and smooth, and the food doesn't stick to it. It is very easy to clean. I would have probably liked one with higher sides like a jelly roll pan to keep things from sliding off better, but this works fine and it certainly is just as pictured, and this was the closest I could find to what I wanted in stainless steel and with a good rating.I would buy it again, mainly because I think it would be fine if I kept it at 400 or less to be safe, and because there don't seem to be many stainless steel alternatives that wouldn't have the same issue.

It will warp, but it's so shiny!
Updated - After about a month of use it now is permanently warped, about 1/2 to 1 inch from flat. Functional, but it's warped. I have other pans that have never warped so one commented about all pans warped is just not true. Still shiny!Original review -I got it because I wanted stainless steel and it was really cheap compared to some other pans (which also had reviews claiming problems, btw).It is quite pretty, very shiny, almost a mirror finish. But I noticed right away that I could easily flex the pan, kinda like a "cricket clickers". Of course I had read the previous reviews about flexing and warping but at this price I figured it was worth a try. But it definitely flexed. So I put it in the oven, unloaded at 350 F. No warping or flexing. On to the real test - loaded with meatloaf - finishing with browning of tomato coating-top under broil. The pan warped, about 1 inch. Not enough to cause problems I have pans that don't warp under these conditions. The pan did return to flat after cooling.Pros - it's cheap pretty and it does what I want it to do.Cons - If you are doing something that can't take warping, it's not for you. It is thin, just not super thin. But not quite thick enough to hold it's shape.

The safe baking sheet that lasts a life time!
This is my second one! Love that you can scrub any food off without worrying about scratching some crappy non-stick finish off. Stainless steel means no leaching of cancer causing chemicals into your food. Also, all food easily comes off after soaking during dinner. I love to bake bacon, turns out perfect every time without the need to line with aluminum foil(not good for you and a mess). Bake crispy potatoes in olive oil, salt and pepper. Bake veggies. I didn't even need to add oil or seasoning to butternut squash. Bake chicken tenders marinated in olive oil and seasoning.Just adding that I have 2 and both are in perfect condition. Any other cookie sheet I have had begins to fail after a couple of uses. There is no such thing as “non stick”. It’s just toxic crap that starts to wear off into your food after the first use. I did get warping in mine, just while hot. I haven’t noticed it in a while though. When it cools it goes back to normal. I use a yellow sponge to get anything stubborn off after soaking. Just made Christmas Crack and didn’t need parchment paper. Best baking sheets!!

Warps in oven
Have purchased multiple of these in hopes that it was a manufacturing defect, but does not seem to be the case. Every one that I’ve purchased warps severely when heated past 360f. It warps abruptly, and sends food flying in the oven. Now I just use them as heavy duty serving trays.Ended up purchasing some steel rimmed aluminum sheets and have been much happier with those.
