I have both a machine shop as well as a cafe, and I can vouch for this product being well made, for the most part.The canister itself is not just stamped, but spun then all threads are machined. These are very expensive operations and I am impressed with that arrived for a reasonable price.The charge cap is also made heavy duty, however, there is a pressure relief hole drilled at the end and the burrs were left inside. I know it is difficult to remove these burrs but not impossible. The hole is drilled in a corner and out of the way, but anything can happen which COULD puncture a charger accidentally. Perhaps this was just the one I got, but who knows?The threads on the canister was nicely machined, but there are a couple threads that look like before or after the thread cutting operation were done, the tool came down and cut away some of the threads. Only 2 out of 4-5 threads are affected which might mean the machine operator was able to stop the program before it cut all the way through. After examining the product, I wouldn't see any intentional purpose for these. This shows poor workmanship in the part programming and manufacturing departments, but doesn't seem to affect performance at all.Because of these two things, I rated this product a 3 instead of a 4.The trigger is a little wide and not too ergonomic but not horrible.Keep in mind that after the canister is charged, the first squeeze will come out a little watery and runny, but that may be due to the water from washing the canister before use. After that, foamed foods come out perfectly.Also keep in mind NOT to use 12g chargers. They are about an inch longer than the 8g chargers and won't fit the included charger cylinder. The 8g chargers are appropriate for this product.You may end up purchasing at least two of these, as you may want, for example, one for a mousse and one for whipped cream. Otherwise you will probably need to use up all your mousse, clean the canister and make whipped cream. This is my next step; order another one.

I purchased this at the recommendation of a friend and because of the "Lifetime Warranty". These products are known to break after a while so I figured it would be worth it to spend a bit more money and have this be the last whipped cream dispenser I bought.Boy was I wrong.I can say unequivocally that this dispenser is complete trash and the company doesn't care.When I first used this it was great! Easy to use ... felt solid ... but then after 2 weeks it developed a leak from a faulty seal.No problem ... lifetime warranty right ... Well I got a replacement ... and I noticed immediately that the replacement felt noticeably different from the first one. The metal was much lighter and just felt shoddy. After only a few days of use it was almost impossible to actually puncture a canister because the pin had worn down.Darn ... I guess I got unlucky ... lifetime warranty though ... got a replacement ... and that replacement was even worse than the 1st replacement. It was equally shoddy in the metal department but it had a broken seal within a week and also became impossible to twist down a canister.I called up the product support to let them know that there seemed to be something wrong and that there was an issue with something that appeared to be a bad batch of steel in the manufacturing process.They didn't really seem to care. I told them I wasn't trying to get anything for free or to complain ... just to let them know that they had some serious manufacturing issues. But the response was just to blame it on a 3rd party seller and not really care that 3 units were absolute trash.They did offer to replace it again, but at this point, after 3 attempts to get a decent product I'm done.Don't buy anything from this company. Their products are crappy and based on the interaction I had with their product support people they don't care about quality control at all.

This whipped cream maker looks good, and works fine for infusing a liqueur, but it suffers from a couple of manufacturing defects.The charger holder is made of a nice knurled steel tube with a small round plate welded in to the end with two tiny spot welds. Defect number one: the welds are bad. After a single use, one is barely holding on, and the other was never actually attached to begin with... it's just a lump of weld bead near one side of the plate, not actually attached to the tube.It comes with three nozzles, two steel and one plastic. The plastic one is properly threaded. The steel ones have three small protrusions that are mean to mate with the threads. On one of the nozzles, this works ok. On the other, one of the protrusions is misplaced, and it won't actually thread on properly.I'm in the unusual situation of having access to a metal shop. I can fix these defects myself, at which point I'll have a great gadget. If that was not the case, I'd have to send this item back for replacement. I'm sure the good ones are great, but I got a bad one.

I wanted to find a cream whipper that would stand the test of time and I feel that this is the right product. If you are in the market to buy a Whip-It! brand cream whipper only once in your lifetime, this is the right product for you. I am very happy with the whipper and the whipped cream it produces.From my experience (we've had it for a few months now) I can say it works exactly as advertised. I would advise that you follow the instructions. The first time I tried to show it to company, I didn't shake it up before use so the cream came shooting out the spout like a squirt gun! Just make sure you shake it in accordance with the instructions and test it out on the side before you point it at your buddy's girlfriend's plate.I've seen some reviews complaining that the seal does not hold. The seal on this product is very sturdy and I have had NO problem with the gas leaking out over time.No complaints, the best buy I've made all year.

Nice quality whipper, works as it should. Wish it had metal tips, but the plastic tips are at least heavy duty.The packaging was stupid though, it didn't fit in its own packaging, I don't really care, but it was wedged in, bending the packaging out of shape and rubbing parts of the whipper.

Product worked three or four times. Now when I try to put the gas in it all escapes rather than go into the cylinder and apparently it’s too late to return it.
