MotexEmbossing Label Maker, Labeling Tool, Old School Label Maker, for Manual Label Embossing- E-202 (Lime)

My first label maker I bought over 50 years ago, a US made DYMO brand. The plastic finally got brittle after 50 years of use, and fell apart. I ordered another DYMO, but this time they are made in China. I think I used it twice, and the thing stopped feeding the label tape. What a piece of junk. All I could find on Amazon was more Chinas made junk, that is, until I found this MOTEX label maker. When I saw "Made in Korea" I knew it was worth paying more for. This tool is very high quality of materials, design, and build quality. It operates very smoothly, like my old late '60s US made DYMO. Thank you MOTEX.

I had few label makers and most of them were super bulky so that I can't carry them around. This is super neat! I can use this to label literally anything I want to label! I am so happy that I got this!!

After ordering (and returning) three versions of the cheap hand-held devices - I got this one. Better wheel design (easy to turn) and letter spacing is tighter & perfectly horizontal. Although it was not used, the supplied 3/8” tape was good and sticky. One drawback - after using the cutter, the tape had a slight bend 1” back. Only a problem with transparent tape. (See NINELEAF Brand)TIPS: To prevent a letter ‘shadowing’ on a blank space, bring wheel to next letter before spacing. And move wheel OFF CUTTER immediately after using.

This label maker works very well and is easy to use. Mine came with green tape. I prefer the lowercase font, but both sets are nice.I made 30 labels for the parts bin in my garage the first evening after receiving the label maker. Only had one letter that didn’t work one time. Probably user error On my part because it performed flawlessly after that.

I had a dymo embossing label maker for a couple of years and it has always been difficult to use, mostly because the letters get off track and having to press extra hard for it to get a clear letter, not a problem with this one, the letters are all in one piece so no risk of getting off track and just a slight press gets the work done, also the font on this one looks better but that’s personal preference.Overall superior to the main competitor brand and higher quality for either the same or lower price. Get this one instead !!!

This product works ok. Not amazing, not awful. It is taking a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get clean impressions/embossing and spacings. It came with 'assorted' color tape, which was bright green. Since I knew I wanted black tape, I ordered it separately. It would be nice to have more clarity as to what color tape you'd get with the order. Don't think I'd order it again, but since I have it I'll make it work. Wouldn't recommend buying it unless you're on a budget and willing to touble-shoot.

I needed to label switches on the outside of my camper. Other labels washed away the letters, but these raised letters stayed in tack perfectly.

So far so good . I hold compression for a few seconds each character for a good raised character.
