Series 7000 - Beardtrimmer 7300

Dammit. I specifically bought this trimmer so I could stab and gash my face all over and sue Norelco, but no such luck. Instead, it did the most amazingly fast beard removal, cleaned up my mustache, and barely a hair in the sink. I don't actually have a beard, what I do have is a laziness gene which prevents me from shaving for days at a time. So then what happens is my facial hair is so long that my electric razor can't get through it, and the little trimmer that comes on the razor sort of works, but takes forever to get the beard short enough that I can use the razor. Problem solved! The 4070 trimmer arrived today, an hour later it was fully charged and I was ready to attack my Geico caveman lookalike face. I set the trimmer on the lowest setting (it says it goes to .5mm, but mine only went to 1mm, what's with that! But no matter, as I later took off the trimming comb so I could go deeper). It simply plowed through the beard like it was butter; super smooth, no nicks, no facial stabbings, no drama. Along the way, whole clumps of hair would stick to the shaver blades and I'd have to pull them off to continue. As others have pointed out, the vacuum feature isn't a shop vac so don't expect it to catch everything if you are doing anything more than a daily trim. But it caught pretty much everything I didn't pull off manually, and at the end the sink and surrounding area were hair free (I know this because it's now 3 hours later and I still haven't been yelled at). After the first go around, I took off the removable 'trimming comb', then got what was left of the beard to a sort of rough stubble, ready to attack once more with my trusty razor (although I could have skipped that step and gone straight to razor, but I wanted to see if this trimmer could be a razor replacement. It can't). I also used the trimmer on setting 6 or so to trim my mustache, something I've never really done before with any precision; the 4070 did a super efficient job, and for the first time ever my mustache actually looked neat and I felt I could rejoin society. I don't doubt the design problems others are having, but I didn't experience any of them. I think this is a great product that comes exactly as described, and does exactly as described.

I've been using this razor for a few months now and it really works well. I was a little wary of the vacuum as I thought it might be a gimmick, but in the end I've been really happy with my purchase. First, the vacuum works surprisingly well. It's not perfect, but it gets the vast majority of the hair (a lot better than my last razor without one that threw hair all over the sink and counter). It also keeps the little hair there is relatively in the sink so it's an easy clean up. There are two levels of vacuum and I always use the higher level as I don't see any reason not to and it really works well. A lot of people before were complaining about the comb that came with the razor - the stubble comb. Though after a while people started reporting that it now comes with both the stubble comb and the contour comb. I did in fact get both combs. I use the stubble comb and I find it works very nicely. Some people complain that it bends or that there is a gap where you could cut yourself. First, the razor is good enough that you don't have to press hard at all to cut so there is no need to bend the comb. Second, I do see how you could cut yourself, as I almost did one day (got a pinch on the lip), but again I was in a rush and wasn't paying attention and got my lip right in between the comb and the razor at a bad angle. From now on I'll be more careful. I have also used the contour comb and it works well but I don't use it as much as I keep close stubble and the stubble comb works just fine. Some people complain that the length of the comb varies on the contour comb but this isn't the case as the shortest length of the comb (from the razor to the tips of the comb) is constant. My only complaint would be that it's a bit difficult to get up under the nose. As I keep short stubble, it's particularly hard. It's possible but takes a bit of work to get the blades close right under the nose. The rest of the mustache is no problem. Overall, I'm really happy with the razor. I don't have a beard and just keep stubble and I find this razor is perfect for that. There are many nice features - from it telling you the length, long battery life, travel lock, &c. It's a really fast razor and easy clean up so shaving can be done while I wait for the shower to heat up.

Absolutely fantastic product! The product not only looks the part for the price you're paying but it also functions like it too. The adjustable trimming head is sturdy and very simple to use while the vacuum feature is very effective and saves me time from having to clean my sink! I have used a variety of grooming tools but Phillips Norelco simply make the best grooming tools for men! Will never use another brand again! The company were even nice enough to include a UK plug adapter free of charge too! A fantastic service and product! Couldn't be happier!

Best trimmer out there bar none. It's a fantastic profuct. Worth every penny.

Best beard trimmer I have had. Also used as a body hair trimmer. Has a vacuum to collect hair but doesn't work well at collecting as easily clogs. Battery last a long time between charges and charges quickly.
