Needed a bit of work.
Grip area is too smooth. I had to add a piece of leather to that area. Otherwise, a good value.

It's light but not particularly comfortable.
it's an OK unit. The construction is solid and the material is very light aluminum...It was relatively comfortable to hold except for one thing - the bottom right corner would dig into the heel of my palm and that wasn't great. I got used to it, but the unit would benefit from more rounded corners.

No center markings
It is well built; however it does not have any center markings on both sides. That's important if you want to quickly setup your camera/lens with pre measured no parallax settings.

Good fit and quality
I have this one and the Fuji grip and I'll be carrying this one because of the addition of the L bracket. Not quite as ergonomic as the Fuji but still good. Comes with an Allen key to remove L side of you want, which I'll do for handheld shooting.Pro: Lightweight, good fit, great valueCons: No alignment markings on the rails. The L side rail just barely clears the strap anchor point on the camera and interferes with the Fuji triangular strap clip. I only use a wrist strap on the opposite side so I just removed it.
