Gets easier with practice, and follow steps
Read all the reviews....- to separate backing film, use a piece of tape on each side and pull apart. You'll never manage it otherwise.- clean window thoroughly- cut roughly to size, but leave 1cm round each edge. It is much easier to trim excess off with sharp blade afterwards than position an exact fit- spray lots of soapy water onto window and film- use a window squeegee blade to smooth film on. If theres loads of water, it's easy to get rid of bubbles-- wipe down and dry, then trim with sharp blade.

Ignore the instructions
My window panes are small which made it a bit easier but the instructions are no use at all as they tell you to peel off the film but there isn’t any, and to use water to stick the film to the window. The first part is obviously impossible to follow but I did exactly as it said about cleaning and spraying etc. As soon as the sun had been on it for a few hours (and it’s winter now) it started peeling off.I’ve done a bit more research now and found suggestions that include adding soap to the water which I guess would leave a slightly sticky residue when the water evaporates so I will try peeling them all (12) off and starting again but so far I’m not impressed

Buyer beware!
Purchased this film for the privacy that it would afford me on a window that is overlooked. The product on the whole is reasonable, the issues I have with it is that it does not provide the level of privacy that the images portrayed (false advertising?). When applying the film it went smoothly the only issue here being that the rolled edges did not adhere correctly and kept curling up.Now, if it had provided the level of privacy as portrayed in the images and there were no issues in dealing with the curling edges I would strongly recommend this product. But as it is, I just have to say that it is of a reasonable quality and that buyer beware it may not provide the level of privacy that is being sought.

Easy to fit and blocks the heat well
In this heatwave I wanted something to block the heat / UV in my study as it catches the heat in the hottest part of the day.Very easy to fit.I purchased a vinyl fitting kit from Amazon but all you need are-sponge / cloth to clean the window-Trigger water spray-Shampoo to act as the soap (I read online shampoo works better than washing up liquid)-Smoothing tool (I used a flexible vinyl smoother)-Scissors-Measuring tape-Sharp blade for cutting away the excess (I used a scalpel)Clean the windowSpray on the soapy waterCut film a bit bigger than the size neededRemove film from backing at the topSecure the topRemove rest of backing to prevent creasesSmooth down from the topUse the smoother to remove bubblesTrim off the excessComes with instructions and securely packagedVery easy to fit and very simple..I completed the window (two opening full size panels) in 15 minutes including measuring and cutting, fitting and trimming up and no bubbles etcIf you need to adjust it just peel it off, wet it again and reposition - had to do this on one panel and it was fineCan definitely feel the heat being blocked out and the temp of my room seems a bit more under control.Recommended.

Can still see straight in....USELESS
Was so excited to get this and prepared to fit straight away. I did everything correctly. Was not too difficult although there was no adhesion. It is just the soapy water holding it up.....and yes I did take of the film! But after triming down etc I COULD STILL SEE INTO THE ROOM FROM OUTSIDE!!!!!! It was daylight with bright sunlight. Not night time. I even took off the film and reversed it just in case that made a difference. NO.So I would not give it any stars at all. Will ring Amazon today and ask for a complete refund although I can not really return the product as it is cut up in pieces now!!!

Fantastic product
This is a great product. I used it on the back door, which is 50% glass (top half) and lets in a lot of sun and heat. I personally found it quite finnicky to prise the film from the adhesive backing as it is so so thin - once past those 5 minutes, it is applied as with most privacy films - the like of which you can buy from DIY susperstoresVery, very impressed - blocks out a huge % of light and heat - as stated. Perfect...I will buy again as requiredThank you

Rubbish! Utter rubbish!
When I say I am annoyed, it's an understatement! This is rubbish. Absolute rubbish! I want my money back. I bought this is August last year but with everything going on I've not been able to install it. Was so excited to install it today and you would not even begin to comprehend how annoyed I am. It's rubbish. All it does is provide a film over your glass door or window. It wasn't difficult to put on but once up, you can still see inside my entire house. You can even see me smiling from behind it and what I'm wearing, doing and everything else. Save your money buyer and seller, take this rubbish down and quit messing with people's hard earned money. I want my money back so please contact me to let me know when I'll get it back. Even if it was £1 I worked hard for it so give it back.

Mirror Window Film
This Mirror window film is fantastic, its easy to put up and line up to and easy to cut to size. It reflects the glare from the sun but keeps our house nice and warm. the Only problem with this Mirror window film is that we've put it in our lounge window which is near the public highway. When women walk by they try to stare in but can't, but what makes us laugh is when women walk by adjusting there hair and make up my kids bang on the window and scare the hell out of them. LOL! the other thing about this product you have to close your curtains at night as any one that walks by can seen in even if your watching TV. No one can seen in during the day even if your watching tv or naked.....
