Instead of sacrifying the scarce food resources to the meat industry, we need to have a change of mind by eating insects as FOOD INGREDIENTS ... 1Kg of beef needs around 15.500 liters of water!!! 0.3% of our water resources are drinkable... Since 1950 the meatconsumption has been multiplied 5 times! Think it over !!!! Read the book!! Open your eyes.... Change your atitude...

This may be an excellent book for a very different audience
This is a serious book, full of research studies and monographs that are geared towards the professional insect raiser. It contains the savvy one needs to go into a large-scale business operation where one produces insects as a sustainable food source.I am not such a person, and unless you are, this book is not likely to be of interest to you. I thought the book would be abundantly illustrated with photos of insects. I imagined that it might describe how to prepare insects for eating. I assumed that it might have recipes that would encourage readers to use insects as a sustainable protein substitute. All of my assumptions were incorrect, and I am glad that Amazon allowed me to "Look Inside." The price alone, from $89 to $140, should have been a clue to its content.

Es un compendio de distintos estudios o tesis en lugar de un libro escrito desde principio a fin por lo que defrauda un poco respecto del titulo.un precio muy alto para el contenido
