My boyfriend bought this chair, he's been looking at getting a new chair for awhile. He's 6'3" and it's hard to find a chair that's big enough that's not ridiculously expensive. We were worried this chair wouldn't quite be big enough, he really wanted to be able to rest his head back and he's able to do so.He also says it's extremely comfortable, he can lean back in the chair and his feet don't even touch the floor, something that he hasn't experienced for awhile.I'm giving it four stars because it has one thing that bothers us, it has a little pillow that has a velcro strap, it would be perfect to put it right over the top part of the chair, which is also the most narrow part, but the velcro strap is not long enough so after a couple minutes it flings off the chair. We're planning on getting some velcro to extend it, but it's just odd that we'd have to do that for a chair that was not cheap. All in all though, a really great chair, especially if you're very tall.

5/12/16 UPDATE:New parts delivered today. I can't thank Newedge enough for being such a solid seller here. They wasted no time and have me no issues to quickly address my problem. They sent me a new recliner mechanism and piston via DxRacer. The repair process was sadly not as straight forward and as easy as I had hoped. It took a great deal of effort with a rubber mallet to work the caster base off the piston rod. That 1 month of use really wedged that thing into the base like you would not believe. I used WD40 along both the base hole and the top of the piston and let it soak down the cracks then slowly used the rubber mallet on each rung of the base and rotated it around (like tap tap tap, turn 1, tap tap tap, turn 1, etc etc) I saw a video on the new done like this to remove the base, but it was hardly this easy for me. It took me over and hour of aggressively bang at the base to finally work it off. Thankfully no damage caused during the process (rubber mallet is the right tool for this job).If you are just reading all this and have yet to build your chair I highly recommend you spray WD40 into both slots the piston fits in before you assemble your chair, it will make future piston maintenance (if any) 100 times easier.I can tell already the tensioner already is strong and better working then the last one was when it was brand new. The last issue developed after about one month of time. I will keep my eye on the situation over the next month or so to see how these new parts work out. Hopefully, this solves my problem for good.Despite this being such a big ordeal already I still do not have regrets about this purchase yet. I can see and feel the quality of the chair. I am just hoping this was an isolated issue. At this point though it is an unknown if this will be a recurring faulty part issue since it took 1 month for this to develop last time around. Thanks again Newedge for all your help and assistance in this matter. You have great customer service!5/4/16 UPDATE:I have owned this chair for less than 1 month now and an issue has arisen. The chair has developed a weird cracking/clicking noise when I lean all the way backward or forward with the rocking chair mode unlocked. Even when locked I hear this noise if I lean forward in the chair. This chair is rated for 300lbs and I am 265lbs and this has not even been a month. I think something is faulty with the "Multi-functional Mechanism" since this is the source of the cracking/clicking noise.I am in the process of contacting the re-seller now to see what can be done. I am not sure if I got a defective unit or if this fault is conducive of the DxRacer chairs in general. I will update this review once I find out more. I felt I had to let other buyers be aware of this potential issue though. I just hope I did not just buy a 400 dollar lemon though!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I was seriously on the fence about buying a DXRacer for quite a long time. I knew they gave a ton of these out to youtubers and Twitch streamers for free to get their name known. For that reason I did not trust any of those peoples opinions (after all why would they complain about a free 400 buck chair). I instead tried hard to find reviews from legit buyers. Once I realized that these chairs are above Office Depot/Staples quality I started to realized that these may be worth the extra cost over and above to the easier to get store bought chairs. For more than 20+ years I have been buying 100-300 buck Staples/Office Depot quality kinda chairs and since I put in more than 12 hours a day in them they last 1-2 years before they get faulty and squeaky and wiggle or just flat out break. This always leads to new found back problems that force me to buy yet another chair.I am hoping with this chair I can break that cycle at least for a while longer! The first things you notice are the weight and metal frame of this chair. It looks a ton better than any crap you get at an office store (even their top 300 buck models are a joke compared to the construction quality of this thing). The upholstery material and sewing quality is literally automotive level. This things just looks and feels like it will have NO problem lasting for years. The biggest immediate concern I had was the density (hardness) of the foam used for the seat and back. When you sit on this thing is feels like you are sitting on a brick. I immediately hated it to be honest. However, I decided to break it in a bit for a week and see how it goes. Almost within 1 hour I started to forget the discomfort, because there was no discomfort. Yes it is hard, but the foam does give a little bit the longer you sit in it. It gives just enough to be comfortable, but not so much that it sags ever. While I cant speak about long term yet, I feel like this will lead me to better posture and less back aches.Overall, I love this thing. Without a doubt it is the best chair I have owned ever. Considering the price is about 100 bucks more than office stores best models... It is not too outlandish on the price considering it seems several steps higher quality than even the office stores best. If you are the type of person who needs or wants a "Lay-Z-Boy" level of softness this is not the chair for you at all. If you work long hours and do not want to get a bad back or a quickly worn out chair, this may be you chair of choice.

unstable, prone to tipping over if reclined at all, uncomfotable headrest, meh armrests, no back support, company is unhelpful
Massive letdown, for this kind of money I expected a great chair, and I got something that made me miss my last cheap Staples chair, The base should be a larger diameter, 2 people have fallen backwards in it already, it even falls sometimes when its unoccupied with one wheel off the floor mat. That right their makes the recline feature worthless, I'm 6'1" and thought the bigger than standard DX size would be fitting, but it's headrest is just the right height to press into that bone on my skull where the neck and the skull connect. The armrests don't hold their position well, and the bottom part is too hard. No lumbar support, I can never get my rear end all the way up to the back to have good posture. Avoid this brand like the plague, I emailed them after I had it for 2 weeks and the customer service sucked I couldn't return it. Their are other gaming chair brands out there, try one of them before giving this turd a whirl.
A**.
It will destroy your ankles.
Every single damn time I sit down on this thing and roll forward. The sharp plastic edges absolutely destroy my ankles to the point of permanent nerve damage. It's a good chair, but whoever thought it was a good idea to have sharp plastic edges over the wheels needs to be sent to a gulag.

they use real steel and nice looking fake leather
Sure, they use real steel and nice looking fake leather. But that's it. The chair, as in an actual chair, is pretty terrible. Seat is hard as a rock, had to buy a seat cushion. Rocking in the chair creaks so badly, I ended up throwing it away. Good bye $400... In my opinion, you can find similarly priced chairs from Steelcase, or something similar, that you will love. My suggestion is to stay far away from this brand.
