I don't usually take my son out on my own because he runs off and I can't catch up to him. He also doesn't take much notice of his surroundings and just bumps into people and he would definitely run into a road without looking if he wasn't restrained. He is nearly 8 years old and he has delayed mental development. Today I took him into town with the belt and wrist attachment. It was great not having to worry about him running off. Only downside, when he did try running, it felt like I was being dragged along by a big dog.. better than him running off i suppose. At least now I will feel confident taking him out. The last time I took him out on my own, we were on holiday and we took my parents dog for a walk. All of a sudden, he ran towards the beach and he wouldn't stop running. I think we were on the beach for about 3 hours, I couldn't get him to come back to the caravan.. it was horrible and embarrassing, everybody was looking at me because I was calling his name and he just kept running and running. Eventually he got tired and stopped running, that was a horrible day. The other day I took him to Asda and as we were coming out towards the car park, he started running, i told him to stop running but he wouldn't stop. It's a wonder he didn't get knocked over.. that's when I decided to buy this belt because I am sick of him running off and endangering his life.

I bought the anti lost wrist link belt for my son who has autism, he is 9 , non verbal and a runner. He will take any chance to bolt of, him wearing the belt give me peace of mind and keep my son save even if I will turn my head for a second, little locks make impossible for my boy to take it off, we prefer belt not the wrist part as he likes his hands free. Work for older child, strong enough and perfect for walking in crowded busy areas

Great security belt - bought for my 5 year old autistic child who doesn’t like the wrist to wrist security reigns. This belt is sturdy & adjustable & lockable with the small keys attached to the adult wrist tether/wrist secure band. Peace of mind & allows me to safely walk with my child.

I have tried the usual chest reins and my Grandson who has autism just played up continuously with them. I tried these out of desperation as he does not understand danger. They worked a treat he walks along without any trouble at all, well worth the money.

This was bought for my granddaughter who is autistic, she doesn't understand dangers and is a runner. This is also good as it locks and she can't get it off. This time I chose the belt and wrist strap as she is now 8yrs old.

This is not bad. I got it for a friend and they said it was a bit bulky but did the job as it should. It was easy to set up and to use though. Great value for money

Mon fils de 2 ans et 1/2 est plein d'énergie, et est capable à tout moment de lâcher la main pour courir sur la route "pour voir les camions de plus près".Après quelques frayeurs, je me suis décidé à acheter cet article, qui me permet de sortir dans la rue sans avoir à être concentré en permanence sur comment et quand mon fils pourrait se mettre en danger.Les sorties en famille sont beaucoup plus sereines !

Produit très pratique petit bémol le harnais s'agrandit tout seul, et mon fils est tellement menu qu'il arrive a le retirer en le fessant glisser de sa taille quand il en a marre.Sinon tres bon produit sur avec la sécurité en plus du système de clés cella sécurise encore plusJe recommande vivement ce produit
