Just the Right Tool
Simple and easy to use. Everything in the kit you need. All you have to do is add some work and you are up and sawing again. For the price this is just the right tool set. Fits in the toolbox with it's small size when folded up in the pouch.

Works great.
Good set to sharpen chain saw chains. Not the fastest but does a nice clean sharp job and covers all needs.

Simple and effective
It took me just a few minutes to sharpen my chainsaw with this kit and it was like night and day in terms of cutting power. The file with guide is very easy to use, much more precise than using a file without a guide. I did find that the file sat a little high in the guide, so did not cut quite as big a 'hook" on the tooth as with a new chain, but in fact the guide does have quite a bit of flex in the middle, so it actually works out. I found the instructional video very helpful and definitely recommend viewing it if you are not an 'old hand' at sharpening chainsaws. Can't be beat for the price.

Great, cost effective little kit
I don't really have experience using any other chainsaw files or related tools, but I can say that these files get the job done well. My dad had dulled up our chainsaw bad enough that it really wouldn't cut at all, but I got it back in perfect working order with this kit. The file guide makes it easier for people who don't have experience with sharpening (most don't anymore) and it's definitely worth doing yourself because its expensive to have it done for you, plus you have to take the chain off. The carrying case is also a neat design. Also, the seller sent *just a few* emails making sure everything went well, I think three total, and I may be including one he sent in reply to one of my emails. I think I read a review from someone who said he got too many emails, but I don't think that will be a problem anymore, if it ever was.

Good buy for the money
I really didn't put it to the test because I was pressed for time and bought a new chain. However I did try filing the teeth and I don't think you need that file jig so much because to really sharpen the teeth properly you need to rotate your file as your filing the teeth. I put my saw in a vise and just marked the degree lines with a magic marker. When this chain "dulls" out I guess I really see how it goes.
