works well, looks good
First off, if you are looking for a large room fan, or heavy duty fan, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a small personal fan that is portable (you charge it for a few hours and then it is powered for many hours , so no cords) and incredibly flexible in use (can be used with the handle/stand to prop up on a flat surface to to hang from somewhere) then this is the perfect fan. As a bonus, it is really light and thin and actually looks nice and modern- all positives that put it well above other portable fans. For the last week I have used this on my back deck, for a total of maybe 10-12 hours and have not yet had to recharge it.I also enjoy the dial that lets me change the variation in the fan speed with more precision than those that simply have an 'on/off' or 'high/med/low'. Overall, I highly recommend this, in fact, I'm buying a second one to keep at my desk.

Exactly what I'm looking for!
The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for a portable personal desktop box design fan that's clean, sleek and a modern minimalist fan then look no further, this EasyAcc 2600mAh rechargeable fan is a gem. Took me a while to find this baby on Amazon but I'm glad I flipped through the search result pages.Fan exceeded all my expectations. The step-less speed control works flawlessly. Moves air adequately for it's size and the build quality is solid. Fan is stable but you need make sure it's on a flat surface. There's an ever so slight wobble on the fan blade at lowest speed but doesn't affect the fan's stability from lowest to highest speed.Fan is rather quiet at medium speed and with a higher pitch whine sound at highest speed nothing distracting tho. I like it.

Updated 11/21/2020 Quiet and powerful but over time it did,.
The media could not be loaded. Updated 11/21/2020 - over the course of the past six months i used this fan a minimum of 10 hours a day every day except for when i was not home. it performed without fail or issue whatsoever for the first three months or so. the last couple of months however at certain speeds it would begin to make a low whining noise. easy enough to stop by very gently adjusting the speed dial either up or down. that is the only issue i encountered to date. while you cannot hear the fan in the video with the wind in the background you can get an idea as to size. hope that helps.the best things about this fan;it is exceptionally quietthe battery lasts as long as advertised, on low all night long with easeyou can adjust speed with the dial from low up to high no just a low, med and high setting like somethe stand design allows for 180 degrees of adjustment anglecharges fast and you can charge while in usethe additional full sized usb port can be used in a bind to charge other things i.e. a phonequality is better than expectedthe not so good;sometimes it can be at just the right speed to make it louder than normal(a slight turn of the knob fixes that)even when the battery is totally full the led status light keeps flashing indicating still charging?Summary - in twenty years i have only had one other fan that approached this level of quiet. that other fan however didn't put out much air. this one however can go from a light breeze to a surprisingly strong flow of air. on high it feels more like a mid-sized fan not a small one. being able to work plugged in or on battery is great too. having the option of using it as a backup battery is a nice bonus as well. without a doubt this is the best sleeping fan i've ever picked up. i would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone!the usb port to charge the device isn't in the best spot for easy access

Sounds like grapefruit.
I gave this fan a fair chance and ran it for ~72 hours to give it a "break-in" period. In my half-decade I have owned over a dozen fans, both metal and plastic: Honeywell, Lasko, Proctor Silex and others....including some generics. This fan is amazing except for one nagging problem: the sound. Note, I don't mean sound as in volume; I mean sound as in noise. It's not loud. The motors of the fans I have previously owned primarily made a low humming sound - some louder than others - but always tolerable.I bought this fan and was wowed by the adjustable speed control and the output, but just so disappointed by the sound - even moreso because of its otherwise great features. The sound is high-pitched. Not as high-pitched as tinnitus, but definitely ear-catching....I couldn't just turn it on, acknowledge the noise and eventually forget it was in the room. It's hard to think of a sound I can compare it to except maybe a whine. It definitely overrides any white noise (which, if it existed, was unnoticeable). The best way I can describe the sound of this fan is to compare it to color: certain colors - black, gray, brown, forest green - are muted and blend into most surroundings, while red, yellow, orange and neon colors tend to grab one's attention. If this fan was a color, it would be hunter orange (although it might not prevent an accidental shooting lol).If it was a flavor it would be underripe grapefruit.Hope this helps.

I'm a superfan of this fan
This fan is my favourite product I've bought for a long time. I've had it for a month now, I use it every day, and I love it.What I love:- I just discovered you can use it as a power bank for charging your phone and other devices via the extra usb port! You would think such a useful feature would warrant more than a single line in the product description...- It's sleek, minimalist and looks great.- The build and materials are excellent, it feels like a high quality product.- It's actually quiet enough that you can sleep with it in.- Because it's got a battery, you can pretty much put it anywhere. I often sit it ON my bed.- The battery lasts for HOURS after it's unplugged.- It gives a cool, gentle breeze.- I'm totally taking this with me next time I travel. What could be improved:- Because the fan is made of a hard plastic, it can vibrate when it's sat on a hard surface. I resolved this by adding some sticky felt furniture bumpers to the bottom of mine (see pictures). I think the next version needs a white soft foam or silicone along the edges to prevent this.- I wish the USB port was at a slightly reduced angle, directly up makes it quiet hard to get the cable in, but you get used to it.Basically I love this fan. For such a small purchase, it's made a huge difference to my quality of life. I can't recommend it highly enough.Update June 2021 - I've had this fan for over a year and used it nearly every day. It still works perfectly!Update May 2022 - The fan still works perfectly.

Blown away!
I don't tend to get too excited with my purchases but I was very impressed with this product, so much I'm very tempted to buy a second one. The plastic is solid, not this cheap rubbish. The stand is foldable so you can tilt the fan to your desired angle and I guess it's also ideal if you want to take it on long trips/holidays etc. Not really had the opportunity to test the battery life but it's a good idea. The variable switch allows much better control. Turned to its lowest setting is ideal for the bedside. It is a bit noisier on full but that's to be expected. Recommended for travel, office desk and bedside table. I don't think it's suitable for a large room, just for close up breeze.

Fantastic portable fan, looks and works great.
This portable fan looks really good. It has a minimalist design and is quite thin when folded away. It can easily put into a bag when you're out and about. The fan is made out of a soft touch plastic which makes it feel very premium.I've found that on full power I get about 4 and a half hours of charge. I expect that this will be much more if you run it on a lower speed. The speed is adjustable via a small knob, it can be adjusted to any speed that you like. You can also use the included USB port to charge your device from the fans inbuilt battery.

Wow.
What an amazing piece of kit for the price. Tested this against 2 other similar fans and this one wins by a mile. This produces the most airflow by far and even comes with a variable speed control unlike all others which are just fast or slow and sometimes medium as well. It's thin, perfect for what I needed it for The hook / stand is adjustable through 160 degrees, only downside is it's solid so you're limited to hanging over something or getting some hooks if you want it off the surface.Bonus features included are a rechargeable battery which gives the same output as having it plugged in. Haven't tested it yet so don't know how long it lasts but it can be charged while running, has a second USB connecter so you don't lose one and can be run from a powerpack. Can also deliver a small charge in reverse if neccessary. Can't see a way to replace the battery if needed but thats for the adventurous, shouldn't be that hard. And it's very quiet even at max rpm.Highly recommended. Bourght a second one even before writing this review.

Why no rubber feet?
I have two USB powered desk fans and a USB rechargeable hand fan with base all of which are "better". By "better" I mean no unpleasant hums, whines or resonance. I would not say this fan is noisy even at full speed but its sound is more annoying hum than soft airflow. It has another problem, when on a hard desk, and it IS a desk fan, at certain speeds a resonance starts. Can be reduced or even eliminated by putting a rubber foot underneath but that's for the designer to do not the user. Its an attractive slim design and I like the single front facing control but the continuously variable speed means a vulnerability to resonance that perhaps is avoided in two or three speed fans.Of four fans I have this is the only one without rubber feet. Makes me wonder whether the designer actually intended rubber feet but somewhere along the line they were omitted. Or maybe hard desk testing at all speeds was omitted? So my other USB desk fans, ibohr and Senpaic are "better" as desk fans and my ibohr cordless handheld is better as a cordless desk fan.
