Let's be real. If you're 40 lbs over there's only so much that can be done with a body shaping tank top. If you're just trying to make what you got a little firmer so ya don't jiggle these are great. I've lost like 50 lbs and even though I fit in a medium shirt and 30 waist Im near 50 and not muscular or particularly firm. So yes these help smooth out the lumps and bumps and make the tighter cloths look nice. For the price it's worth a try.

Just received the product yesterday and boy it was hard just to get it on. I’m a normal medium. Had to struggle to get it pull down from the shoulder. The compression on the stomach area have some but it was crushing my stomach making me nauseas. It’s definitely not for everyone. I don’t think I will be able to wear it for a long period of time if I feel uncomfortable. It hid my belly a little bit but it’s not magic. Your belly will still be there just looks a little more flat without the curving through the shirt.

These body toning undershirts are total fake. The sizes are way too small. Almost impossible to put on and definitely impossible to take off. Very dangerous product specially for overweight individuals.Overall this product does not meet any expectations. I throw mine in the garbage as it was not worth the time to return.

It doesn't work as advertised. There is no noticeable difference in one's looks.

This is my second time ordering this product. I'm a police officer and these tanks help contain the sweat from my vest. Also great while working out.
