I needed an ice cube tray, so when I saw this silicone one I ordered it. This is a flexible tray that makes 15 ice cubes at a time, 1.5 in square and is strong enough to carry it from the faucet to the freezer full and it doesn't spill. It is made of 100% food grade silicone, so there are many uses for it. I have used it to make chocolates, or you can freeze pureed fruits, lemon juice, it is also heat resistant so you can make individual baked products too, the possibilities are endless. It is dishwasher safe so if you put something other than water in it, cleanup will be a breeze.The only problem I had with it was after making ice cubes, trying to get them out was a problem, I twisted the tray every which way, it is very flexible, but the cubes did not want to release, they did pop out one by one when pushing on the bottom hard. This is a 100% food grade, blue silicone ice cube tray, although I see many uses for this.....perfect size candies, fudge, etc for parties..I am going to try my DIY lotion bars and bath bombs in this, sine it is oven and freezer safe. It is BPA free. The ice came out so easily and clean with no mess. It makes 15 cubes.And the best part of all....it's dishwasher safe...so clean up will be a breeze. I am very happy with this ice cube tray.Thank you for allowing me to review this great ice cube tray for a reduced price for my honest and unbiased review.

These silicone ice cube trays work perfectly for us, but I can see why other people may have issues with them. The ice cubes are easy to remove if you don't have long finger nails that aren't suitable for grabbing the cubes and if you fill the tray to near the top. Simply push the individual ice cubes up from the bottom and then pull them out. There is no rim around the outer edge, so unless you are very steady, you are likely to spill some water putting the trays in the freezer. Although the trays are fairly short, they are very efficient in that there is no wasted space as there is with many of the more conventional trays.
