Calculate with Confidence (Morris, Calculate with Confidence)

im i first year student and this book saved my semester. im a good math student that didnt think i would need this will all the online resources but when i failed my first dosage calculations exam i decided i would try the recommended book. I AM GLAD I DID!! i started from the front and have worked through the entire book and it has made a HUGE impact. its very relateable and easy to understand, i rave about it to the other students and will use it through it my entire student nursing career. just buy the book i promise you will need it and be glad you did!!!!!

I previously bought another dosage calculations book and wasn't successful in passing the test with it. I studied it cover to cover and felt as though I really knew the material. After having heard about Calculate with Confidence from someone at my college I purchased the book. There are quizzes after each section, at the end of each chapter as well as a test at the end of the book testing all material. This book was extremely informative and aided me in passing the second time around.

I have three co-workers who are nurses they both said to me "where was this book when I was going through nursing school" So I am excited and I have begun using it, its really good. A lot of pictures and practice review to help understand and I do a lot of note taking so yes I am going through this book before I take my dosage and calculations class so I can get a good grade and not be lost entering the class.

I’m very pleased with the condition of this book. I was expecting it to be a scribbly mess but there’s only a few answers filled in on the first couple pages, the rest of the book appears brand new. Perhaps the person who had it before me dropped out of school haha. I’m so glad I didn’t spend the money to get the new version. Math is math. Save your coins.

Great reference. I did not end up needing this book for the class that required it but decided to keep it around to reference because it has been awhile since I've had a math class. It starts with the basics and covers most of what you will need for nursing school. I did find that my professor explained the problems and formulas better than the text.

you need this. You have to be able to perform the equations in this book to be able to pass first semester even. Order it. practice it until it is second nature to you. all the test have math problems in the adn program. so if math is not your thing. you need to embrace it, accept it, and know it will be with you throughout your career as a Nurse.

I am using this book because I have to learn how to perform dosage calculations for nursing school. I love this book because it is an excellent teacher and guide in understanding how to read medication for patients and helps to ensure that the healthcare provider gives the right amount of medication. Teaches you about Roman numerals, mL=cc, and other conversions. It even helps out with terminology.

Book was sold as being in good condition for a very low price so I was expecting it to be a little beat up but it is very close to looking new! Very excited

its in good condition , doesn’t look like second hand book.I like it.
