Perfect for the price.
Not sure what all the fuss is about. This shoe rack was perfect for the price and took less than 10 minutes to put together. A 7 year old could have done it. That being said, it easily fits nine pairs of shoes as stated and looks quite nice.

Simple Tri-Level Shoe Rack
This is a sturdy, easy-ish to build tri-level shoe rack. It's not particularly special, I chose it for it's price and color. The last shoe racks I purchased were Seville Classics Resin-Wood Composite Utility Shoe Rack (Single Pack) and I really liked them for stackable-ity. I thought these might be stackable, but they are definitely not stackable! My mistake though, I thought the rubber pieces on the tops corners were removable like my old shoe racks. Unfortunately, I really don't have space for multiple racks, but really need expandability in my shoe rack, so I'll probably have to return this.Building this shoe rack, is fairly easy - it took me ten minutes. The most annoying part was placing the three trays on the rack, it's just not built very well, it doesn't snap on and requires quite a bit of force and hammering. Once together, it looked fine, and mine had the legs pre-screwed and leveled, so I had no problems with the legs. My shoe size is a 5, and I'm able to fit four pairs of shoes on each tier. I ordered a pair of these, both from Warehouse Deals, which comes with a few dollars savings, but I'll be returning one, I just don't have the wall space for more then one. This serves the purpose of a shoe rack, isn't expandable or stackable and provides storage for 9-12 pair of shoes depending on shoe size. The rack is a little annoying to put together and is a nice color, but I'd personally order Seville Classics Resin-Wood Composite Utility Shoe Rack (Single Pack) instead.

Don't buy if you have high-heeled shoes. Faulty parts leads to headache for putting it together.
I would not recommend this for women if you have any shoes with high heels. The spaces between the bars are too far apart, and the heels fall through them. It works well for flat shoes or men's shoes or hiking boots, etc... This rack should have taken about 3 minutes to put together, but I purchased two of them, and they each took me about 15-20 minutes each to put together. This is due to shoddy parts. There is a plastic piece that fits underneath each hook. All of the plastic pieces were bent in such a way that they would not fit on to the bar. I had to remove most of the 12 plastic pieces (12 per rack) and stretch them out. I then had to place the plastic pieces over the bars and then line up the shelves over the plastic and then snap them together.

Looks great and will probably hold up unless disassembled frequently
Admittedly I didn't read the instructions with this one, but I still got it together and you will too. The sides fold out from the back and the shelves hold it all in shape. When I got it, one of the plastic clips had come out (slightly mal-formed) which was a little tricky to hold in place while assembling, but I'm not whining about it. The tricky bit was getting the last shelf in place. If I did it again I'd probably save the top one for last. Looks great and will probably hold up unless disassembled frequently.

Sturdy, pretty and easy!
I have been looking for a shoe rack for just my boots. I wanted something sturdy! I really love this shoe rack and it only look a minute to put together. I just didn't use the middle rack so I could fit boots on the bottom and the top. Works perfectly. I fit 4 pairs on the bottom and 4 on the top. I've read in some reviews that the screw in pieces for the bottom doesn't screw in all the way. The first one I put in was a little tough half way through but put a little muscle behind it and they will go in :)

Attractive, easy to assemble rack
This is attractive and totally simple to assemble.I wear women's size 5 shoes and I can get 12 pairs of shoe on the rack, including ankle-high boots. My husband's shoes are men's size 12. It fits 9 pairs of his shoes but his hiking boots have to go on the top shelf.Someone complained about the black plastic pieces that hold the shelves on being bent in so it was impossible to assemble. They are flexible and of course they have to fit tightly to hold the shelves securely. I have small hands (to match the size 5 shoes) with tendinitis in my thumbs. I had absolutely no trouble pulling the black pieces open (with no tools) to fit the shelves onto the frame. Also, I had no trouble with the feet.

Terrible AmazonBasic product
Cannot believe Amazon basics issued this product. My biggest problem is the terrible Shelf Clips. I never have a problem with Amazon but this is unbelievable. This quality issue makes the shelf almost impossible to put together. The hard black plastic clips fit into the sides of the shelves, two on each side. Every single plastic clip was warped (curved inwards) making it impossible to snap the shelves onto the sides of the frame. I gave up after fussing with it after 30 minutes.

Cleans up shoe clutter, great price
This sturdy shoe rack fits nicely inside my mudroom closet and gets nine pairs of shoes off the floor and in easy reach. You can also fit 3 more pair under the bottom shelf (low shoes like sandals and slip-ons). FYI, it's 5 1/2" height between shelves and 3 1/2" clearance from the floor to the bottom shelf. It was a snap to put together and there were no missing or bent parts.
