Spectrastone Deep River Regular for Freshwater Aquariums, 5-Pound Bag

The gravel is nice and rounded, but make sure you wash it well. My bag had a lot of dirt caked on the rocks. It took several washes before the water cleared. Otherwise it has the look of natural rock to give my tank the look of a little pond. For me it is nicer than the fake colored aquarium gravel.

Product itself came just as described. Delivered safe & well packaged. 5lb's wasn't quite as large of sq. footage as I needed, so some type of exact measurement by company should be added to product description. For example; "..5lbs covers x amount of footage by x depth..." so that people who aren't math wizards know exactly what's being offered. Fault was mine tho', for not looking at specs more diligently. :-)

My pet snails love these pebbles, they look very natural. Lots of color variation.

This gravel used to be a dark brown but now is more like a mixed brown/cream color. Still natural looking though.

I used this in my seven Betta bowls, it's more of a earthy color than some childlike neon color. I like a more natural looking bowl. It's not dusty, but can have a lot of very tiny gravel pieces, if not careful can go down your drain when rinsing it in a colander.

This is a natural colored stone, EXACTLY as I anticipated. I ordered six 5lb bags for a 60 gallon tank and it covered the bottom very nicely. Enough stone to cover the live plants that I also have purchased through Amazon. If you are desiring a natural colored rock for your aquarium, this is the one to purchase!

The color is good it is beige, will be returning I put them in the tank and after 2 days they grew mold on them thank God I didn't have any fish in the tank, I washed the stones with rock salt and warm water thoroughly rinse them off before I put them in the tank to sit, and the grew mold on them,. Not impressed with this at all if you do not have to have gravel or stones for your fish I suggest you don't do it

In the image for the listing, the rocks in the 5lb bag shown appear much finer and smaller than what was delivered. The rocks I received are larger and coarser than expected. I am disappointed, because I ordered them specifically for the size that was shown. The rocks are also very dusty, unlike other bags of the same brand that I have purchased from aquarium shops.
