I have been having knee pain and I've used quite a few knee braces, etc. They seem to be missing one factor that these bands do have. This factor is that I can use these precisely where I need them, just under the knee cap, and I can easily adjust the pressure. Wearing them, especially on the knee that has a tear and other issues, has helped with stability and lessened the pain. They are soft, comfortable, easily adjustable.

The Leimi patella tendon strap actually works pretty good for me. I apply it snuggly to just under my knee cap and it provides a much needed upward pressure on the cap to relieve and/or buffer any pain and cushions quite nicely. This is much different than a knee sleeve. It fits securely under the knee to offer a huge amount of support that helps to take the pain away and prevent it from getting worse. The more I run, the worse my knee pain gets, and using this to support the knee from the start has done wonders to keep the pain at bay.The brace itself is thick and well padded. There is a breathable liner covering the pad to help with airflow. After sliding the brace up your leg to just under the knee, the brace can be locked in place by the 2 strong Velcro straps that tighten from both sides. The fit is great.The strap appears to be very well made and has held up very well to my use.I received this item for free or at a reduced rate in exchange for my unbiased and honest opinion.

So far these straps are working great. I purchased them mainly for while I'm driving because I have patella pain from my knees being bent to one side while driving. My drive this morning was one of the most pleasant ones in a long time because of these straps. I found the spot on my knee that felt best for the strap and tightened it up. I was a bit skeptical that they would actually stay in place but they didn't move at all from where I placed them on my knees.I also purchased these to see if they would alleviate some of the pain I receive while playing basketball which I'm excited to share that they did. They didn't completely rid me of the pain when I jump and push off the ground but I did notice a huge difference at the end of the game. They did side around just a little bit but that's too be expected when you're strapping it around your knee which does a lot of movement during a game of basketball.Another one of the reason I chose these straps was because of one of their descriptions: "1).BEST KNEE PAIN RELIEF - Are You suffering from any kind of knee pain, during some exercise, or even a walk? These knee strap goes around the knee, below your kneecap, and over your patellar tendon to provide support for your knees, which releases the tension, and gives your knee the best relief from pain." - so far this strap is the answer for some of my knee pain (the pain directly related to my patella).The material seems decent, nothing like you'd find at a medical store but then again at a medical store you'll pay 10 times the amount. I did notice that the straps I received did not look like the ones in the pictures. Mine are grey all over and do not have a logo on the front of them. A little misleading in my mind. I attached images of the ones that I received. If anything Leimi would want to have logo'd ones to get their name out. The Velcro seems very strong and stayed in place. Even without the discount I received on these I would highly recommend them and purchase them again at full price.

I can't say that I've ever needed to use one of these before, and never in my life did I think that I required any kind of knee support. But, after several years of bike riding, and (lately) jogging, I realized that I'm not as spry as I once was. While I can admit that I've always had some minor knee pain in the past, getting any kind of support was maybe a last resort.Once I was recommended by my doctor what I should look for, I found a great product, and can honestly say that this has helped me quiet a bit on my rides. While I'll be honest, the pain is there, it's not as debilitating as it was before, and I don't have to make frequent stops to give myself a cool down period as often as before. The product is slightly uncomfortable the first couple of times, but after a while, I adjusted the straps properly to account for my riding/jogging style. It's been a great help so far, and I always appreciate a company that sends letters with their products (even if it's just a photocopy).Lastly, I would like to add that while I did receive this product at a discount, in exchange for my review, my review is completely legit: I think I stalked this item for about 2 months, as I've been wanting something to assist me for several months.

This LEIMI Patella Tendon Strap has done a great job relieving me of my knee pain when hiking. The strap stays in place and is easily adjustable to be confortable. I've used these on two different hikes now and compared to my other straps, these do just as well if not better! The materials seem to be of good quality, with velcro adjustment straps. The adjustment offers plenty of range for me as an average size man. Overall, I'm very satisified with the purchase. I received this product at a discount for an honest review.
