I bought this way ahead of my sister's birthday because there was a sale. I thought she could use some cheering up and the reviews were good. while waiting for her birthday to arrive, my daughter had a break up that made her wasnt to lay in bed all day, so I gave her the lamp to try. She reported that the lamo helped her. She doesn't know how or why, but it felt good. She gets horrible migraines and she was surprised it didn't trigger one because it is pretty bright. Meanwhile, I had to purchase a replacement for my sister and still another for my grown daughter. All recipients were very happy with this little gem saying it feels peaceful.

Great light. I'm using it for SAD. Easy to take to different rooms around the house. I'm a little concerned about transporting it to and from my office everyday so I'll be using it at home. I could tell a positive impact in my mood and alertness there first time I used it #instantgratification.

Recently had to put in some long hours in my newly created home office. I'm by a window so I can see outside, but it's night. And sometimes you need some sunlight in your face. So this has really helped to get the stress out in those nights. I've included a few comparison pictures because it's kind of hard to state how bright this thing can get. And it's small so you can definitely place it somewhere functional without it being in the way. It has 3 light settings and honestly low is perfect to start out with. I also included a picture of high and with it off so you can see the difference it makes. It doesn't create any heat which is also nice. Highly recommend this light.

A slight caress, and the light springs forth. Let there be simulated sunlight through the dark winter evenings and early mornings. At the the first alarm at evil 04:30 a lazy flick of the hand fills the darkness with clean(albeit terribly painful at first) light. Reading beside it in the dark afternoons/evenings of deep winter help push back the curtains of depression that threaten to hide hope for longer, brighter days. Give it a go if you find yourself feeling dragged down by days without sun, winter, monsoonal, or just because a little light is better than the darkness, whenever/wherever it may be.

I am hoping this helps with my low vitamin D and seasonal depression. it was delivered right on time, and is exactly as expected.It’s wonderfully small and lightweight compared to some others, It is also bright and it has different functions and settings. It does not hurt my eyes or even bother them. I might only see 30-60 mins of daylight each morning, before I have to go to work. Quality SAD light for a great price and great for dreary winter days to cheer you up.

I LOVE THIS LIGHT THERAPY LAMP! I use it every morning for about 15-30 minutes as I read, before the rest of my house wakes up. I strongly recommend it!

This lamp initially was great: compact, white, aesthetically pleasing, very bright, easy to use. But after using it at full brightness for two consecutive days (it isn't even winter yet), it occurred to me I may need to replace the bulb. BUT...there is no way to do that! So once this burns out, into the landfill it will go and you have to buy another lamp of some kind. The warranty is only for 18 months (so it covers one season of SAD). I haven't decided if I'm returning it (but now that I write all this probably will). At the time of this review, there were over 4300 reviews with an average of 4.5 stars. But I don't want to invest in a disposable product. BUYER BEWARE.

Since transitioning to working from home, I knew I needed a therapy light in the room I was going to be using because of the dark paneling and little access to direct sunlight. I'm very happy with my purchase of this sunlight. It is a great shape for pulling close to me while working and not interfering with my vision on my monitors for work. I would highly recommend this to anyone and in fact have recommended to friends on Facebook.
