Lonely Planet Africa Planning Map

The media could not be loaded. Large size & durable composition. Wish the Legend/Key had more symbols & they were better defined. All national parks and major waterways are shown/named; major roads are shown but unidentified/unnumbered.

It's a useless map. It's large with lightly colored dotted lines for country demarcation, and most of the major and medium-size cities. A couple of red dotted lines from one place to another, without explanation. It's just a map. Not sure why it's called a "planning map." Te other side of the map is "blank" with not even the countries listed, just words of a few major highlights and some explanations of the highlights. This is what a book is for, not a map. Much better would have been to skip this useless side and split the map up into "north and south Africa" or "east and west Africa" and put a lot more detail on it so you could actually use it to "plan" things... Tossed this map.
