Arrived well packaged and safe. Instructions were incredibly easy to follow. It looks so modern and can easily be tucked away behind decorations or plants. For such a small thing, it has a lot of power! Barely takes any room. Monitors my temperature accurately (I checked with multiple thermometers). It lets you set the temperature you want, and when it’s finished flashing, it tells you the temperature your tank is at. If and when I will likely need a heater in future, I’ll definitely be ordering from Hygger. Really surprised, I was worried as there were no reviews. The power cord is a little on the short side but proved to be no problem.Definitely recommend!

Easy to set up

So it finally gave up on me. I ordered this 3 years to the day. Which is quite good for the price. The useful thing is that you know when it's gone, when there is no red light coming from the tank. The red light display is quite bright and may distract from the aqua scape, which is I suppose the only real criticism of the heater. Until today it worked well and was accurate enough.

I first put this in without much water flow and it was awful, reaching temperatures of 27 but set at 22 and reading 22. After sorting out water flow it stabilised. It isn’t totally accurate though. I’ve found that setting the temp at 24 will get me water between 22 and 24. The heater itself will say the water is 23 when it’s 22 so won’t click on to heat until it’s 22 meaning the temperature will mainly be at 23 as it then thinks it’s 24. This small discrepancy doesn’t matter for most fish and you can easily set it to be 1degree higher than you want the water.I personally wish they had designed the red lighting for the temperature to click off on the unit as find the light quite distracting. The suction cups are excellent.

Worked fine for around 8 weeks, well made, easy to use - I would rate it 4-5 stars like Hygger air pumps.Then when I came to check in the morning a few weeks ago, the display was blank, just the red LED flashing slowly. As soon as I touched the tank I knew something was wrong, it was hot like a bath. During the night this heater had malfunctioned and started continuously heating. When I found it, the water was over 35 degrees and everything in the tank was already dead.I cannot trust this heater again. If it failed 'off', fine. The tank could survive half a day of chill, but as it failed into a 'heater on' state, it meant everything died.

I bought the 50W version which is obviously for a small tank and this is where it fails in my opinion. It's big, much bigger than I expected but it does benefit from an easy to read temperature gauge. You set your desired temperature with a switch on the cable and it works well. However, they have used heavy duty, thick unbendable cable that is so big it won't pass through the gap on my tank lid and after a few days the strain on the cable forces the suction pads off the tank. So, every few days the heater just floats to the top. Make sure you have a big gap on your lid and bend the cable as little as possible or it will become unstuck.

Very pleased with this. I have used it with my Giant African Bullfrog for 10 months now and have had no issues keeping his 15 litre pool warm.I suspect the people who have had issues are trying to heat up ice cold water each time. Whereas I prefer to put the water in already at the target temperature and allow the device to maintain that temp. That's my suspicion anyway.I will use the larger model when I build his actual final paludarium.Its well made, operates correctly, safely and looks smart.

Man kann die Temperatur einstellen die man braucht.Funktioniert einwandfrei. Habe die Heizung gekauft weil sie klein ist. Habe eine Wasserschildkröte und dadurchDas Aquarium nicht komplett gefüllt. Dafür ist die Heizung optimal.

I bought this about a year ago, and it is of great quality. The displayed temperature is accurate and the heater does a good job of keeping a consistent temperature.It sometimes has trouble sticking to the glass, but this is not that big of an issue as it only seldom detaches.Overall it's worth purchasing.

Heizung ist top! Bitte die Saugnäpfe durch höhere Qualität ersetzen. ansonsten alles top.

Sobald die Heizung anspringt gibt sie merkwürdige knackende Geräusche von sich. Hört sich nicht so gesund an. Hatte davor einen heizstab drin und der hat keine Geräusche gemacht. Naja...Leider tritt das ganze erst nach 2 Monaten auf, also kann ich sie auch nicht mehr zurück schicken

Es braucht ewig um zu heizen dazu brummt es auch noch normale heizstäbe tun das nicht... begann bei 9 grad sollte auf 24 Grad heizen dauerte ganzen tag... bloß nicht kaufen....
