I found out that there is a lot of white ...
I found out that there is a lot of white stuff on the seat cover. I was thinking that it is the left over food eaten by my kids. However, when I take it off and found out that these small white stuff is actually the rubber backing at the seat cover. These white rubber backing are all breaking into the small pieces and stick to the black front seat cover that cannot be removed.

Disintegrated immediately
If i could pick negative stars i would. This is an absolute terrible product. Almost immediately after i put this cover over my seats the back of it started to disintegrate. This left little white pieces of the back all over my car. I would never buy this again or recommend anyone else to either.

Do not waste your money!
I bought happeseat after reading all the good reviews here. I do crossfit and I needed something to protect my car of sweating. After the first week I wanted to wash it and noticed a lot of white stain on my car seat ( Sweat reaching my seat) and a strong odor inside my car. Long story short now is in my trash can. I feel like I wasted my money

a bit overpriced and maybe, eventually, a problem with the rubber backing, but it works for my needs and I just bought a 2nd 1
Take my negative comments with a grain of salt. I bought a second one because, despite my nit picking, it still works quite nicely at keeping the seat clean which is the main purpose, without spending a fortune. I got a second one recently because I go some food on the driver's seat and decided to protect it. The following is my review form the first one I bought, almost a year ago. >>> I bought this to put on the passenger's seat so I could throw my backpack and any other junk I wanted onto that seat without messing up the seat. It is basically microfiber with a rubber backing and a connector to go around the head rest. It is not meant to be completely waterproof to my knowledge and probably isn't. The rubber backing keeps it in place. For my purpose, it works well. On the other hand, if left in place, I am pretty sure that rubber backing will start to deteriorate and make it's own mess. It is a bit sloppy looking since it just hangs but on the other hand it doesn't block any air bags. Other then keeping an eye on the rubber backing, the only bad point is the cost. It is made in China and in reality, no matter where it is made, should cost about $15 retail. You can pretty much do the same thing with a store bought piece of cloth or towel, a string, and a few holes in the towel. That said, until the backing breaks down, I am still pretty happy with it.

Don't Worry, Be Happe!
I purchased my first Happeseat after seeing a friend who had a similar product. I was so happy with it that I purchased a second one for my other car. Then my husband wanted one for his car. I have given them as gifts to several of my workout buddies and have recommended them to others. If only I was earning a commission! These are great for protecting your leather/upholstery from post workout sweat and odor, but are also great to have on the seat when you get in the car on a HOT day when you have leather seats, especially when in a skirt, dress, or shorts! They was up easily in the laundry. The only problem I had was with one of the straps breaking. To avoid this, be sure to tuck the Happeseat into the seam between the back upright/back of your seat and the bottom of the seat where you sit. This way you don't strain the strap from the pull when you are settling into your seat.

Nice idea maybe not the best option for trucks
Ok, here's the low down. Great idea and after 1 year of use and 4-5 washing's I can say it has held up well against my post workout wet clothes. It looks good and the seams and straps are all just fine. That said, I do have one major complaint. The cover simply doesn't stay in place. I have a Toyota Tundra and every time I get into the truck I hook the side of the towel and it ends up bunched up to the right. The product does have non slip on the back which seems to work very well right after washing but within a week or so I find the slippage increasing. When I enter my vehicle the best image I can portray is a messed up bed, the cover is always pulled down and bunched up. I find I'm constantly having to tuck and try to spread the cover smooth, kind of a pita. I think the improvement needed is a fitted front instead of it being simply a towel hanging off the headrest. Maybe it is better for a car where you enter coming down on the seat vs sliding into the seat as in a truck?

Useful for Watersports, Too
I use this to protect my leather seat from the worst of the water when I jump out of the nearby lake in my swimsuit or wetsuit and drive home (just about 20min).It's not totally waterproof, but it's better than my thick towels (read: bottom of seat gets slightly moist vs. wet). Also, it's so much easier to throw on vs two towels (for full coverage) and so much less distracting during the drive (no skidding around). With the wetsuit I usually do throw my towel underneath me on account of how the wetsuit holds the water until I sit down, but the difference between just a towel and this plus the towel is night and day. And of course I don't need an additional towel behind me now at all (read: totally dry on bottom and behind with this plus the one towel underneath). One thing I would caution against is sitting on this (I have the black version) in white pants or something. I forgot it was on one day after showering and changing, and some of the black rubbed off on my clothes as the seat cover was still damp. Luckily I was just going to the grocery store and everything washed right out of the clothes when I got home without any special laundry treatment.Did get some awesome looks in the store, though LOL!I would assume by now that the dye has washed out of the seat cover by now, as it was fairly new back then (a couple of weeks). But. All the same. Probably smarter not to tempt fate.
