Perfect UV light to use with UV Adhesives
This was bought to use with RapidFix UV liquid plastic Adhesive. I saw some reviews that suggested that a stronger UV light in the 365 nM wavelength would work to harden the adhesive faster. So far, I haven't been disappointed by either product. The adhesive does set within 10-15 seconds when this light is used. Additionally, this light is a bit stronger to help locate areas where pets may have urinated. We have an older cat that sometimes has accidents in areas of our home and this light was perfect for finding the locations. If nothing else, it provided the peace of mind that the cat didn't do anything. The small size is convenient and still powerful enough even in daylight, but not overly bright areas. Best if used in a darkened room or at night but much more powerful that another UV light I have that is most likely in the 400 nM range. It also illuminates little bits of lint or some other small paper shreds or similar. I read reviews where other people also purchased a set of UV glasses to more easily see those areas that would glow under this light but I passed on the glasses and haven't had any issues with weak illumination. I suppose you can spend much more on larger lights to do the same job as this one does, but so far I would definitely recommend this light/RapidFix combination for some repairs where super glue isn't as efficient. One note about the adhesive is that it does get hard faster with this light but it is better to wait overnight before the adhesive is much stronger and the repair can be subjected to more stress. No matter what you may want this light for, I would recommend it to anyone and would buy it again with hesitation.

UV-A flashlight with real 365nm wavelength to visualize UV security marks on documents
I was looking for a UV-A LED flashlight with 365nm. This wavelength is best to visualize security marks on banknotes and certain documents. Most other UV-A LED flashlights have higher wavelengths (approx. 400 nm); such flashlights are brighter because there is more visible non UV-light, but not all UV visible marks can be recognized. This flashlight here is not so bright because there is only a minimum of visible but a maximum of non-visible UV-light as it should. So all security marks can be seen even those which are hidden when you use another wavelength. Also, this flashlight works with standard batteries, many other products require special types of batteries which are hard to obtain. Flashlights like here are hard to find and so I ordered it even from Germany here on Amazon USA. I deduct one star because the price is extraordinary high. It is a cheap product Made in China and it could be offered for a much lower price too. But I am satisfied with the product and would buy it again!

Too much Visible, Not Enough 365nm Light
I bought this, hoping to find a decent and affordable 365nm UV flashlight I could use on night hikes, looking for scorpions and millipedes. To be honest, it produces way too much visible light, so that any UV light it produces is lost in the white light. I have a less expensive 395nm light that does a much better job. Do yourself a favor and avoid this flashlight.

but its UV light pattern is quite wide so it's not great for curing UV-light glue
It's hard to tell about this flashlight's power output, but its UV light pattern is quite wide so it's not great for curing UV-light glue. It might be okay for stain detection... but not for my purposes. So I bought another flashlight, one with a 3.7V Li-Ion cell and a single high power 365nm UV LED. This second purchase works well for UV glue.

Bright, true UV, easy to use, highly recommend.
The media could not be loaded. This light is great. I bought this to quickly charge my kid's glow in the dark things (book, toys, etc) and it charges them to full in an instant. I also use it to hunt for critters in the backyard with him. Millipedes show up, easily visible from several feet away. I've posted a video recorded with an iPhone so you can get an idea. I think it's important to know that this is a 365nm wavelength light. It is more UV and the light will appear more like a dim-white than a bright purple as some might expect, but anything that fluoresces will easily pop. Compared to lights that have longer wavelength LEDs (over 365nm) and therefore have a more "purple" hue, this light will make fluorescing objects easier to spot rather than having to look for it in a spot of purplish color. I recommend using these with any clear safety glass that has UV protection. This will help ensure that any light bounced back doesn't cause any damage.

NOT for cat urine....
It gets an extra star because it is made well and is reasonably bright. I am not sure what the problem is though with it. Even with the yellow tinted glasses, it still doesn't show cat urine, dried or fresh and I checked places where I KNOW there are spots that need cleaning because it is where the litter boxes are. I have had a fluorescent light in the past that worked for this purpose but this is the second LED light I have bought and I spent several days researching how this works and why. I can't find anything that says the LEDs don't work, but my experience is that they don't. The only other possibility is that the seller/manufacturer is lying about the NM bandwidth this light produces... either way, it is garbage for finding cat urine.

Works better than most
Works better than most, once you can get it to start working. Had to fiddle with the lens and screw cap a bit, but the special UV wavelength shows urine stains better than anything else on the market.

Catches things you didn't even know we're there lol
We got this for a specific reason-to check for counterfeit playing cards (Magic The Gathering specifically) and it works beautifully. We ALSO found out our puppy happens to be urinating in a few very specific spots that the light picked up REALLY well. Good to know lol. All in all it was a fantastic purchase and a great quality item!
