D-Cache - Waterproof Aluminum Storage Container (Compass Cap)

Using to store fire starting materials for camping. Threw in a few matches and threw it in the sink for over an hour. Everything was dry. Little pricey but larger than others and well made.

I am definitely a fan of this storage tube. It is the largest one that I have been able to find that has a solid construction. Please be warned that it is not as large as you may be anticipating, but still a decent size. The only major downfall is that it is a bit too pricey. If the price was lower, I was most certainly buy more of them, but as it stands - $30 is too rich for my blood. I hope this helps!

Very good quality. Smaller than I was expecting. The title “D-Cache” led me to believe this was big enough for D cell batteries, but it is narrower in circumference than that.maybe it would fit C cells. But that’s my fault. Still a quality item.

Modeled after a stick of dynamite, solid construction, waterproof, can hold quite a bit of things; I will be making a medkit and Firestarter kit(Removeable fuse is simply a plastic stick, stays in fairly well though, color code for quick access)

The product is very high quality, built strong and completely water tight after submerged in water during a 1 hour field test. There is also plenty of room for storage.

I backed this on kickstarter. It is so well made, I like to open and close it just to enjoy the quality machining. Sturdy, roomy, attractive, useful. No regrets for having gotten on board early.
