Wow, color me impressed in a beautiful shade of milky green celadon! This mug is absolutely stunning. I wish I could give this ten stars, as it's one of the most gorgeous mugs I've ever had the pleasure to own.As a self admitted mug snob who has over two dozen mugs in my ever growing collection, this lovely mug shoots straight to the top of my favorites list. There a few different categories a mug has to tick for me to swoon over it, and this mug hits all of them!First, the weight of it. I have weak hand muscles, so it can't be too heavy, and a lot of mugs are just too bottom heavy and bulky for me to comfortably use when they're full of tea. This mug holds a lot of liquid while still remaining sleek and easily used one handed. The mug feels exceptionally light but still sturdy. I'm not worried about it tipping over.Next, the handle. I want a substantial, easy to hold, smooth handle free of weird bumps or those annoying "thumb rests," that I can comfortably fit three fingers inside of. Again, this mug comes out a clear winner.Onto color and glaze. It's always a delight when I can find a mug in a fun color and beautifully glazed. I will compromise on color if it ends up being a nice shape and weight, but in this case, there was no need to settle. The pale soft green color was hard to capture on my phone - it either looks blue or too dark, but it's a true soft celadon green and absolutely lovely in person. The glaze is silky smooth with not a single blemish. Imagine this being dipped into water that was magically turned into a permanent glaze, and that's how the surface of the mug feels.As to sturdiness, I have run mine through the dishwasher multiple times now (on the top rack) and haven't had any issues with chipping. As someone who drinks tea constantly throughout the day, I go through multiple mugs daily. While I don't consider myself careless, I don't treat my mugs with kid gloves either. This mug has been on my work desk, kitchen table, counter, sink, hung out on the floor while I was working on an art project, and I've not had any issue with it chipping.A fun mug collector note - I always love when a mug is glazed and marked on the bottom, which this one is. It's a sign of craftsmanship to me when that extra step is taken, because it takes skill to nicely finish the bottom of a mug and a lot of companies and artists skip this step to save time. It's like a little secret from the artist telling you they put extra care and attention into the creation of the functional art you're now drinking out of.I am willing to pay for quality mugs, but this exceptional mug yet again comes out a winner on that, coming in at an incredibly affordable price for the level of quality and detail you get. I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the future to give as gifts. Do yourself a favor and buy one, because it's truly a work of art.Update 2/18/23:I purchased the other peony version, and wanted to note that it is a bit smaller, as you can see in my photos. I'm perfectly happy with both, but if you are expecting them to be the exact same size, please note the difference. I absolutely love them both, and am delighted with the detailed designs. Definitely worth the wait for them to be shipped internationally. These have shot straight to the top of my favorite mugs list, and I've already purchased more to give as gifts.

The cup arrived securely thanks to custom fit styrofoam for the cup and lid, that was wrapped in cardboard and taped snuggly. If it arrives broken, there must have been some serious travel issues because they wrapped it very well.The cup is in good condition with no chips or scratches. There is a small blemish on the lid and very bottom of the cup but nothing that will impact the usage.After a good wash, I made a cup of mint tea. As usual, life happens causing a delay for me to get to enjoy my tea. Even after about ten minutes the tea was still very hot thanks to the lid and quality of the cup.I’m very happy with this cup & lid combination. My only negative would be that in my opinion after holding it and using it, I feel it’s a little overpriced.

Very pretty and useful mug. The lid does keep liquids warm and I love that it's microwavable. Definitely made to last.

Color and design are as represented. The mug is thick and retains heat. Already the lid has survived a couple of mishaps. It was well packed, too. It holds the equivalent of a couple of ordinary size teacups of tea. I feel it would be a nice gift especially with a packet of tea.

Beautiful, good quality. Holds exactly 8 ounces. The color is also very beautiful. Keeps my tea hotter longer in between sips. I love it for my sleepy time tea, and or hot water with lemon. If you are looking for a cup that soothes you like the liquid you put inside of it then this cup is it. They have different colors. It shipped in a timely manner and the way they packaged it in the box they make sure to take good care of it. The cup is handmade so it makes it more special.
