Squier Affinity Series Starcaster Electric Guitar, with 2-Year Warranty, Candy Apple Red

The humbuckers sound great(playing through an orange crush 12) both clean and with overdrive cranked. 3 position/ using both pickups gives me lots of bottom end, and the high end sings. the candy apple finish is gorgeous, tho a little sloppy in the f holes. Neck is very standard fender- feels nice and light to my hand vs Gibsons heavier feel. Was set up out of box aside for tuning.

Honestly wasn’t expecting much but this is a beauty.. and sounds great out the box with a quick tune. Love it.

This is a well made guitar for the money. Plays very nice. However for the style of the guitar, the pickups do not seem like a good fit. They are Humbuckers pickups, which give a hard rock/ metal tone. The Guitar output needs To be dialed way down to get the tone less distorted. I’m sure these pickups are what the original 70’s issue of the guitar model had. But I’d expect a semi-hollow body tho have more jazz or blues friendly pickups. Not a huge deal. Just beware of this when selecting guitars. Made in Indonesia

My son had seen this guitar in store and added it to his wish list. I purchased it on Amazon because the price was much better. It arrived in perfect shape. He was surprised and loves it! It’s really a beautiful red color. The sound is great too.

I own a number of high quality Fender guitars so I was skeptical if this was going to meet my expectations. It not only did that it went beyond what I thought was possible for an instrument in this price range. The fretwork is excellent and the neck is as straight as a die. I was able to lower the action way down without any fret buzz making it easily playable anywhere on the fret-board. I love the color and the overall finish is AAA+.I have no idea if these guitars are produced consistently, maybe I got lucky but I would highly recommend this instrument not only to any player with a budget but to anyone who likes fine guitars.

I give this a five star because this is one of the best guitars you can get in this price range. Especially for it being a hollowbody, it can go from clean to a overdriven and sound really good both ways. The neck is on the thinner side it doesn’t effect quality, but if you like a thicker guitar neck it might not be quite for you. All and all it’s a solid guitar mine didn’t necessarily need to be set up when it arrived just a few small adjustments to the bridge saddles and it was pumping some oasis tunes.

It came as good-looking as the ad! It plays great It has both some fender and Gibson sound Its hard-driving loud and totally tamable Mine feeds back in "A" I change the tone a bit and feedback stops This guitar ROCKS will be using it at shows for live music and so will you!

塗装がきれいです、エフホールの裏側へ指を入れると仕上げが雑ですが、この値段なので問題なしと考えるべきです。

Don't expect the same quality than a 2000$ guitar.but for a learner, not so bad ... and you will apreciate saving 1700$when you give up playing guitar
