I ordered these to make tumblers for my 13 year old’s Halloween themed sleepover. My husband and I were both stunned by the quality. Identical in almost every way to our YETI tumblers, except for the standard sliding lid vs the mag lock. Also came with straws and brushes... the purple color is bright and an exact match to the YETI purple, as well. Excellent value! I only had 7 girls total, so I kept the extra one for myself! I’ve used it for iced drinks with the straw and my morning coffee, it does just as good a job as the YETI tumbler at keeping things hot/cold. The added bonus of the stainless steel straws makes this the best value on amazon I found.

My new Umite Chef mug from amazon for less than $14.00 performed the same as my wife’s 20 oz Yeti. We filled both mugs with hot water that that measured at 115 deg. at 5:30 pm and both decrease to 100 deg at 10:30. We can report no difference. We still want to assess long term quality with regards to the lid gasket and durability but we have no real to think it won’t be as good. Great product!

The Unite Chef is under half the price of its’ competitor Yeti & also I decided to buy the white 20 oz United Chef because I bought the white Yeti and the United Chef was a better shade of white. You also get a aliminum drink straw & brush (to clean the aluminum straw) Now what lot of people don’t know is the caps or top of both companies are interchangeable as long as you order the same size caps, in other words a 20 oz cap will fit on either make Yeto or United. This is important because I didn’t care for the aluminum straw from United Chef so I bought the cap with heavy duty straw from Yeti and now I have the best of both worlds. I have a United Chef 20 oz tumbler for over half the price of Yeti and I bought the cap made by Yeti for around $10.00 that came with a heavy duty plastic straw (again it has to be for 20 oz tumbler) that cost less then a Yeti which ONLY supplies t cap for coffee. That means if you spent $25 to $28 for a Yeti, you still have to pay another $10 for the optional plastic straw with the lid. If you paid around $38 or more you have the Yeti with 2 caps, one for and one for cold drinks with a straw, or you can buy United Chef for $10 to $12 dollars & spend $10 for theYeti 20 oz drink cap & you’re only around $20. Just remember Caps are interchangeable as long as you use the same oz tumbler.

Update: tumbler is still great but the lid has shown its true colors. Liquid and gunk is getting stuck in the bottom and there’s no way to get it out. I’m considering breaking the black closure and just use as a drinking cup. Disappointed.Great tumbler. Lid is a bit harder to clean than I expected, despite it coming with a brush. Liquid/water/soap get under the movable lid/seal and can accumulate there as I tried to show in the picture. Eventually it does dry up. Despite this, it keeps drinks hot/cold and doesn’t spill at all. I really like it. Plus you can decorate it and sticker stays put

I got this as a gift. I do find it difficult to clean the lid where the thing slides. It doesn’t seem to pop off easy like my Yeti. If there’s a way to get it off easily that would be great to know. Otherwise great product! The straw even comes with its own cleaner which is perfect to keep it sanitized while helping save the turtles from plastic waste straws.

I’m really torn on the product. I’ve used it for a few weeks now & it definitely keeps warm drinks warm & cold drinks cold. My coffee can stay in it for most of the work day and still stay warm. I’ve also had ice with cold drinks stay frozen for almost an entire day. Plus the coral color is super cute!However, there are a few drawbacks. First of all, when drinks are still very hot the lid won’t go on properly. It will pop up because of the steam unless I open the little part you drink from. I understand why this happens & it might be typical with this type of cup, but this also means it’s not spill proof when the drinks are the hottest. This cup also has a weird aftertaste for a few drinks.

Love these! I read a lot of reviews of different tumblers before buying these. What I like about them is that they have easy to grip tops and the tops do actually go in tight so didn't have any spills. My dad uses them more then I do now. So I will be buying more. I do recommend these.

This will not hold 20 ounces of coffee with the lid on it. I have a Starbucks 20 ounce travel mug that holds more liquid than this mug. If you don’t use the lid and fill it up right to the brim, technically it will hold 20 ounces but no one is going to leave the house without the lid on it. So realistically, it’s false advertising.
