Professional-quality silicone caulk, perfect for sealing tub/showers
In reading the reviews, a few points need to be clarified for those who aren't familiar with silicone caulk. First, this isn't a tube with a cap. This is a tube for use with a caulk gun. There are markings on the tip for you to place your razor blade on to cut the tip to desired size. Second, YOU MUST PIERCE THE MEMBRANE INSIDE THE CAP. If you don't, you will blow out the back of the tube. This isn't a manufacturer's defect but user ignorance. If the caulk is runny or separated, it's old--throw it out. Third, this is silicone not latex--it is messy and it takes confidence to apply, but the results are excellent. You must remove all caulk, scrape or use mineral spirits to remove residue, use rubbing alcohol to clean, let dry, then apply. Clean up any excess with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel. To reseal the tube, simply insert a galvanized nail in the hole, wrap the tip with saran wrap, then use an elastic band keep the saran wrap in place. Do not expect to get a lot of use out of the remaining caulk--silicone is often a one and done. I will use older silicones for sealing areas that aren't seen (basement, attic, etc.) but generally you want a fresh tube for a tub/shower application.

Good results, tricky application
I bought this for sealing the gap between the counter and the wall tile. The finished result is excellent, but getting there takes some patience. This stuff is not water-soluble (that's a good thing, when you're done) but it makes application and clean-up a sticky business. Gloves did not help--the line was uneven and grooved. A finger works, but you must wipe away the excess (I used a paper towel, not a sponge) and clean up with mineral spirits. It looks great, and is holding up perfectly, but...patience.

WRONG COLOR SHIPPED TWICE
Product itself is excellent, but CLEAR was sent instead of WHITE, both on original order and on replacement. I see in reviews that other people have had the same issue. If you want CLEAR, best try another seller.

This is the only product I will ever purchase again for kitchen and bathroom waterproofing.
I have tried multiple brands in the past that claim to be mold proof but after they dry it is very easy to peel the silicone off of the surface. This brand is amazing. I have used it to waterproof the top of a white shelf I use in my bathroom in addition to ceiling around my shower and bathtub. The adherence is like nothing I have ever used previously.. I have a very old bathtub that had a sliding glass door that I removed. When I removed it I realized there was damage across the area covered by the sliding door. I used this to apply a thin coat all the way across the top which sealed the cracks that evidently were made for we had the house. At some point I plan to replace the tub but until then at least it's waterproof.

Good caulk!!
I bought this to recaulk around my bathtub when the old caulk started to yellow and curl up. It's so easy to use! I just opened it and popped it in the caulk gun and got to work. I wasn't sure how it would come out since I'd never done this before but it looks great!! I just took my time and applied a thin line around the area and waited 24 hrs. to make sure it was completely dry. I used a tiny bit more in corner area as that was the worst. It looks so nice and white and clean now and it's very adhesive. Just make sure to remove old caulk first. Highly recommend!

Keep lots of paper towels handy. The tube leaked out the back.
As others have stated, my tube busted out the back end when trying to use it in a caulk gun. Fortunately, only a golfball sized amount came out the wrong end before I could get it flowing from the tip, which needed to be cut far larger than I had wanted to. Others may want to make a pastry bag technique to recover the usability of the contents for a smaller tip.The material itself is far less workable compared to "alex" (acrylic-latex) and as a result I needed a lot of paper towels to get up the mess, which was annoying since I'm a decent caulker otherwise. If only the tip had been actually usable with a small hole instead of the big one that I had to cut to get anything flowing out of it, maybe it would have been less messy.
