Capacitor for a PSC motor in a A/C compressor. The product info said overnight delivery at 7am to 10am.After my purchase the delivery time said it would be 7pm to 10pm. I was rather upset about this with daytime temps pushing near 100.Then, my confirmation E-mail (that I checked latter) said delivery would be between 10am to 2pm. I could work with this.

It installed perfectly in my portable AC unit. The unit would blow air, but was not cold anymore. I replaced this and it took care of my problem.There are two kinds of capacitors. Run capacitors and Run/Start capacitors. Ensure that you have the correct one for your application bc they are not interchangeable. Run had 2 prongs while the run/start has 3 prongs.Capacitors essentially act like a “jump start” of power to keep an engine with running or allows it the needed energy to start the motor running. Both of these require a little more power than is available from the electrical circuit. It’s more complicated than this, but this should help answer some of your questions.Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
