I do Bikram yoga several times a week. As you may know, it gets super hot in the room ... so hot, it's almost unbearable. Although the instructor may only turn the thermostat up to 110 degrees, it feels like 125 degrees or worse.Even if you don't really exert yourself, you'll start sweating after about 10 minutes in the room. And I'm not just talking about breaking a little sweat ... I'm talking about sweat dripping off your nose and running down your back. Watching other people with sweat streaming down their bodies makes it even worse, so that eventually, you really feel uncomfortable. This is why I was thrilled to find this cooling towel from Magic Touches on Amazon. It's like a refreshingly cool breeze in the middle of hot yoga. I can't emphasize enough how good it feels. It cools me down and soaks the sweat right up, so I can carry on and make it through the entire series of challenging poses.What I like most about it is it puts me back in charge of my body temperature. In the past, I'd be anticipating that moment when the instructor would finally fling open the doors that lead outside, so that a small breeze would give us a moment of relief. Now, I have a secret weapon ... I can reach for my cooling towel whenever I want. I'm definitely going to buy some more.

The product is exactly what you'd think it is, absorbent material holds water, the air cools the water and provides cooling to the skin. I have seen several of these products in use and looked around quite a bit before my purchase. For the price and the easy transaction I am very happy with my purchase of the Magic Touches product. I gave four stars because it's not a mind blowing concept on what it does, it is just very effective and useful product.

It was okay at best. I bought this to use in hot yoga because I wanted a cloth that would stay cool in the 105 degree heat for an hour. I didn't feel like it stayed as cold as it promised it would. It was cooler than the air for sure but I didn't feel super refreshed when I wiped my sweat away with it in class. It was pretty absorbent though, I'll give it that. Not really when I bought it for though...

Unfortunately I ordered this towel when it was hot here in ST. George, and now we are having a cold spell. That is not to say it is not handy during cold weather. It has many uses. For example, say you are eating bbq ribs with your fingers. Normally you would have to go to the bathroom and wash and dry your hands. But with your cool towel you just wipe off your hands and face and voila you are clean again and you have not left the chair. Say you are on a business trip and you have a flat tire and you need to clean your hands after fixing the flat. Presto, you can clean your hands with a wet towel and no-one is the wiser.And I love the plastic container. After I had received the towel and had washed it and tried it out several times I rinsed it out and put it back in the plastic container and let it stand for three days. When I pulled it out of the plastic container it was still damp. Thanks Magic Touches what a great idea.

This product is just a shammie used to dry cars.It keeps you cool I guess because you have to keep it soaking wet. There are much better products available.

It does what it supposes to do: keep you cool. That's pretty much it, nothing fancy about it. Do not set the expectation bar too high. It is as advertised so I give 5 stars. On the downside, it's dried stiff, when not using it or run out of moisture, it is like the overcooked crunchy piece of pizza, for that reason, I give 1 star. So it ends up earn 3 stars from me.

I am one to sweat a lot during the day (it is very annoying) and I saw this and thought that I would give it a shot with all the great reviews. When riding my bike or taking walks when it is hot and humid out (and I live in the South) I don't sweat as much and I do stay cooler. It seems to last quite a while, around 30 minutes. Don't expect it to be super freezing and make it feel like there is ice on you but it works as promised. I give it a 5 out 5 stars because it does exactly what I expected and that is very rare with items like this.If you have problems with sweating within even seconds of going outside when it is hot and humid out and you're trying to find a way to stay cool and not sweat; give this a try!

Took it to Israel and toured around in 120 degree heat and it worked amazing. As long as you can find water to soak them in every couple of hours, it worked very well. In extreme heat, it kept moist and cool for approximately 2 hours.
