excellent wood for carving
Probably the best Basswood i have bought ,carves easily and reasonably soft Im in the UK and use it for carving my Little Characters

Works well for 1st time carver.
Never carved before so didn't want to go expensive n find out I'm rubbish at carving. This was easy enough to work with though it did sliver off at times rather than carve out at certain angles. And on the right side (as you're looking at it) there seemed to be an inviable .....knot or something that wouldn't carve smooth like the rest. But it could just be me not really knowing what I'm doing... I will be buying again.

Meh
It's not soft wood and is actually pretty hard to carve with, don't expect buttery smooth cuts. Even with a super sharp knife, your thumb will hurt after a while. It is nicely sized however, and all pieces are evenly cut.

I enjoyed using the basswood however I personally feel that the price is a bit high

Small pieces of wood
It arrived super quick and the stars are for that. Cost me £18 for 10 small pieces of wood. If you are wanting small pieces of wood then this might suit you.

Yeah it's good
It seems the only place to get this wood where I live, or eBay UK. But anyway really nice for carving. I haven't used it all yet and I would buy again.
