Buddy Valastro Foods Perfect Cake Kits - Cake Mix, Cake Pans, Icing, and Filling (White Cake)

We split the layers to have more, and layered them with whipped cream and frozen blueberries. With the cream-cheese based icing and a dusting of chopped pecans around the outside, it made a very, very nice little birthday cake.

Really like watching his show. Thought I would give this a try. We will see.

Like other reviewer‘s I was surprised when I opened the cake box and found two mini cake pans about 7” x 1”.it tasted great after it was baked, but won’t buy it again. The cakes is about 1/2 the size of other cake mixes. As good as it tasted, I can’t justify spending that much money to make such a small cake. and I only used half the package of frosting. It would’ve been overkill to use the whole package of the frosting on the tiny cake.

Just ordered more. Easy to make and very, very good.

I bought because cake pans were included, as I don't bake very often. Icing tasted great. The cake was a little dry.

The cake is very small and both layers frosted are about 2” tall. The texture, flavor, size were all terrible! I’ve made cakes with Duff Goldman’s mixes and his are far superior to Buddy’s cake mix.

Very disappointing. I was expecting a lot better from the Cake Boss. It's quite small, I think overloaded with sugar, and not much flavor. My expectations were probably way too high. Duncan Hines and I can make a far better cake than this.
