RocketfishOptical Mouse - RF-AFMSE

This is a decent mouse for the money- fast functional and it looks good. I would buy this mouse again. Better than the battery mouse that came with my mac.

This is a great replacement for the Apple Mouse, especially when the stupid little scroll ball finally stops working (which is pretty much a certainty if you use it for any length of time). The Rocketfish Optical Mouse is plug and play with OSX Yosemite. The mouse came with a disc, presumably with drivers or whatever, but I haven't installed any additional software – it just works. One thing I'll note is that tilting the scroll wheel side-to-side doesn't have the same speed of responsiveness as scrolling up or down. After using it a while though I find I don't really use side scrolling all that much, nor do I miss it. The scroll wheel has soft detents or clicks while scrolling, which I prefer to the vague feel and jumpiness of the Apple Mouse's scroll ball. The only complaint I have is with the product packaging: this item comes heavily armored in one of those infernal finger-slicing plastic blister packs. It took a bit of work with a pair of scissors and needle nose pliers to free this thing from its unnecessarily difficult to open packing. Otherwise I'm very happy with the product.

It's okay but I'm not very happy about it. It's a little clunky so I ended up buying a new one by Logitech for my MAC.

This is the longest lasting mouse I have ever owned. It is corded, but that is okay with me because I had the last one for over 10 years. My kids were not the gentlest with it, or I would still be using it!

The apple mice I've owned are useless because I need a right double click button. I'm sick of replacing batteries on wireless devices; I just wanted something basic that works. This does. No issues. After almost 4.5 years I've worn mine out and am ordering another one. That amounts to what, $5/year? I'm happy.

Works well and long lasting

Bought this as a backup for the ever problematic Mighty Mouse. Works well and hopefully is more reliable.

Works great. I've run through 2 or 3 different Apple mice and decided to just accept that they aren't made very well and try Rocketfish. Good decision.
