This product was not as stated in the product description. The product description says the part that inserts into the chair leg measures 1.25”. The product we received measures exactly 1”. These replacements are completely useless for our table and chair set. The company also states in their description that the customer should measure accurately. Well we can measure accurately... but this company sure can’t.

Our island barstools are in constant use and I have needed to replace the caps as somehow my children, despite their lack of significant weight, are able to crush/collapse the ones that came with the stools and my 1st set of replacements. These are the best so far; I like how they have an outer edge that matches with the "cups" at the bottom of my barstools - this means that my children will likely not be able to crush/collapse them like the other ones that were all inserts with no lip. The fit was perfect - it needed a little tapping on them to get them in - but that will ensure that they don't come out. I also add felt sliders to them so that they won't scratch the hardwood floor.

We have four wraught iron bar height chairs in our kitchen. They are awesome chairs and have been around long enough to wear through the original chair slides and begin to leave marks on the floor. These new slides fit perfectly, and the chairs are like new. A tap with a hammer set them perfectly. I don't think they will slide out.I cannot comment on the durability, as they have only been installed for days, but they seem thick. Overall I am impressed

I measured the inside diameter of the table I was going to use these for. It measured the correct width, but these were too loose when inserted and fell out. I used some glue and then inserted to stick them to the metal and it seems to work.

Wrong size! Diameter is 1 3/16 inches, making the cap 1/16 inches short and lose inside the cap. Description should be corrected and special glue provided to avoid frustration.

Absolutely love these chair glides! I refinished an antique wrought iron garden table with two chairs. l-l/4" size is not easy to find, but these chair glides fit perfectly and delivery was prompt! Very pleased with this purchase. :)

The wrought iron furniture I have is probably at least 50 years old and the feet are pretty worn and uneven but were leaving rust marks on the patio so I had to try something. Some of these went in fairly easily, some I had to shave off the little tabs to get them to fit. Hopefully they stay put. I just put them in so I am really unable to speak to the durability so I gave them a 4 just because of that: I mean the ARE only plastic but hopefully hold up.

Bought these to replace the original plastic glides for my wrought iron kitchen table chairs that have worn out. These seem sturdy and well made. Needed to use a rubber mallet to "tap" these in place, but it wasn't hard to do. Deducted 1 star because $20 seems a bit steep for a pack of 16 plastic caps, but I needed them, so I paid the price. They are fine otherwise.
