Great hearing aid dryer
This is a pretty good little hearing aid accessory. It uses hot air to dry your hearing aids and UV to sterilize them. It's pretty effective at the drying part, but I have no way of measuring the sterilization, so I'm kind of taking the manufacturer at their word on that part. The inside compartment seems to be built for two over-ear hearing aids, so my one BAHA fit no problem. The USB power supply is great, so you can run it off your computer or phone charger rather than only the wall. You could even use a laptop or battery bank if you're on the go- a 30m clean cycle uses no more than 500 mAh, since the included charger is 1000mA. One star off, however, for using Micro USB instead of USB-C. Get with the times.Operation is simple- just plug it in and close the lid. The manual says you need to push a button on the front, but mine only has an indicator light- maybe the manual was for a previous version? In any case, the light turns off when the cycle is complete. Unfortunately, you do need to unplug the dryer when not in use, or it would continue running when you close the lid after taking your hearing aid out.The cleaning cycle takes 30 minutes, which is perfect for use while taking a shower, a place where you'd want to take your hearing aids off anyway. You also might not want to be in the room while this operates, because the UV light will make it smell like ozone.Overall, I think this is worth the money, especially compared to the old kind where you had to microwave the ceramic beads in a Pyrex bowl every couple of weeks.Pro tip- take the battery out of your hearing aids and leave the compartment open, in order to dry the internals more easily.

Small, Elegant and effective
Given one of these by my new audiologist when i bought a new pair of Oticon Alta2 hearing aids from him. I was so pleased with it I bought a second one on Amazon for a second residence. The Perfectdry replaced the much larger, Store and Dry units I had been using for 8 years. The store and dry required a desiccant which had to be replaced every three months and had a fan which operated 8 hours. The perfect dry is quiet, operates 30 or 60 minutes and the wax on the domes brushes off easily in the morning. I used to place the dry and store in my office since the fan noise kept my wife up, if I put it in the bedroom. Quest Perfectdry is small, and quiet and "hides" behind my alarm radio on my nightstand so so the blue UV light is not visible. I highly recommend it.

I'm Pretty Sure it Works, but not the Model in Picture or Description
My mom has one of these so I tried it when I visited her. I promptly ordered one from Amazon when I got home. Going on faith, I'm guessing that it works. There is no measurement indicator. What I do notice is that my $6000/pair aids seem sharper and brighter after using the PerfectDry Lux. I love that it is compact, and I carried it during my travels to Vietnam and Thailand where there is high humidity. My concern is the model I received is NOT what is pictured and described on Amazon. The one I got does not have the 2 blue lights at the bottom; instead the button turns blue. It only has a 30 minute quick dry cycle, and does not have a 90 minute intensive cycle as described. I am hoping that this means I have the LATEST model, and not an obsolete one. Based on the manufacturer's website, I believe that I have the current model. I note that the price recently came down $20 on Amazon and other sites, and that might be due to the fact that the manufacturer has a newer invention called PerfectClean that will also remove earwax. That sounds promising!

especially on those super humid summer days in the Midwest
I used to have a container filled with silica beads and it just didn't seem to really get my hearing aids dry, especially on those super humid summer days in the Midwest. My audiologist suggested this and I bought it on my way home. It was delivered a couple of days later and I use it daily. The one thing I do, though, is remove the tubing and ear mold from my BTEs. That way I don't have to deal with the tubing or ear molds hardening or shrinking over time (faster). It's made a huge difference in my hearing aids and I would highly recommend this!

It works great!
We've used this for 6 months. All I can say is that it works Incredibly well. While this doesn't "clean" the hearing aides it really drys out the gunk so you can easily clean them with a brush. Before the Quest we we're at the audiologist every 3-4 months with a plugged microphone, so far so good. This little machine works great.

Seems to work well
I bought this for my husband to extend the life of his rechargeable Oticon hearing aids. It is easy to use, seems to work well, the motor comes on when you press the button and you see the blue light pulsing until the cycle finishes (around a half hour). Honestly, I have no idea if it is really doing anything since the hearing aids are not "wet" when you put them in the box. How can you tell if it is really "drying" them? The audiologist said it's a good idea to use it so we will continue to do so. It's easy to use it nightly and not a big expense so why not?The only trick for those with rechargeable hearing aids is to remember to set them on the charging stand before you go to sleep. My husband has accidentally left them in the drying box overnight a couple of times and woke up to realize his hearing aids were not charged. Oops.

It worked great until it died
Stopped working after 2 months 6 days. Of course the return window closed after about 1 month. It worked great until it died.

Great item and easy to use
I have have the Resound Linx Quattro rechargeable hearing aids and use this unit daily as we have discovered some moisture in my units. The unit is small, absolutely quiet, and dependable. It was recommended by Resound through my Audiologist. I’m very pleased. The 30 minute cycle is absolutely correct. As soon as I get up in the morning, I take them off the charger, put them in the PerfectDry while I’m showering and I’m good to go for the day. I highly recommend.
