I have had these for 3 years and still work today. Definitely durable. The light now lasts 5-6 hours if it charges all day. So still shiny almost the whole night. Pretty good!

First I think they are priced too high most of the year. I wait for them to go on sale.I bought a set of two of these one year ago and used them. They are pretty fragile because the wire is thin and easily kinked. Go slow and be patient. They are brighter than I thought they would be and having multiple modes is nice. I wish they were a bit bigger and/or longer but they are fine for what they are. They usually will run all night from my experience. Obviously it is impacted by how much sun you get. I am in the southern US so I get more than the northern US would but it doesn't take as much direct sun as you might think. I put the same pair back up this year and they still worked after having been taken down and stored. This was my final test so I bought two more packages of two this year. It's nice not to have to run cords and such. I did have one issue with the new order. 1 of 4 did not work at all. I decided to work on it myself rather than return it and I was able to repair it easily enough. It was a simple connection issue. I purchased these on April 27, 2021. Today is April 19,2024 and yes, i am just now writing this review. I want to give credit where its due and the quality of these are very impressive. They are still going strong, lighting up everynight. I have never had to change the batteries. They are the only set i have purchased that are still going strong, and i have purchased at least 5 sets from other sellers (i needed blue ones) and they have all died within a year. There is a rating system on these and i will never make the mistake again to purchase anything but IP65 rating. I wish these were still available. My world is pretty dark without more of these. 5 star!!!

The media could not be loaded. So I have a little area under a tree that I absolutely love. One night I thought about how pretty it would be to have some fairy lights strung on this tree.Off to Amazon I went!I ordered a couple pairs at first. Got them, loved them.Loved them so much I knew I NEEDED a couple more sets to really get that twinkly magic!Btw, this is all very recent. Like in the past couple of weeks recent.3 nights after a rain storm, dead. As you can see by the pic, half are out. That’s 3, (maybe 4 can’t remember), useless brand new strands doing absolutely nothing.Tbh, I haven’t requested a return because there is no way this 53 year old is going to attempt to take those lights out after wobbling to and fro on a ladder putting them up.Am I super disappointed and now really annoyed? You bet.Total waste of money. Unless you are good with the 50/50 shot you will get on whether they work or not.The positive:* they are super easy to put wherever you are wanting them. Well I wanted mine in a tree so it wasn’t “super easy”.* lots of mode options. I like the one that looks like fireflies are in the trees.* pretty bright was a happy surpriseThe cons:* they don’t work.* the claim that they are weather proof is, uh… is clearly not true. After one rain storm 4 strands do not work.* they don’t workSo, anyway, maybe the seller will see this review and send me replacements without requiring me to have a near death experience to take down the worthless ones. If that happens, I’ll be happy to edit this review and write a glowing one about their customer service.Until then.. I will be the house you make fun of for not committing to lighting up the tree evenly.Ugh.

I live in a mountain community in a rural area that suffered terrible damage from trees breaking and falling in storms over this winter. We lost over 25 trees on our property alone. The power company came through and cut down every tree they found blocking their lines along the roadside. The neighborhood ended up with a devastated area in one particular area, resulting in depression over the visual loss of greenery. The owner gave us neighbors permission to re-beautify that section, so I wrapped multiple sets of these multicolor lights on many of the tree stumps along that roadside, and we are adding wind spinners, bird houses, plants (when spring comes) and one neighbor paints stencils of forest creatures on the bald stumps faces. The lights have been VERY well received as they aren't too bright and lose power gradually as the night proceeds. But these lights also hold their power very well and have definitely contributed to our beautification project! I added some more to our deck and railings in a support to our solidarity dealing with COVID-19 and they last all night! Fun and inexpensive!

I'm very disappointed that these lights didn't even last a month. I put them out to charge for a few days. I made sure to turn them off before nightfall and back on the next morning. I wanted the batteries very well charged. Welp, they only lasted a few weeks. I think the batteries must've been old or faulty. It's not even worth my time to take them down nicely (untangled) and return them even though I have a few days before the cutoff date.

Lasted about a week and now doesn't charge. Oh well. Get what u paid for.

Generally decent, bright and reliable. But one of the four sets I bought stopped working after around 5 weeks. So a bit hit and miss with 25% failure rate
