i looked at so many cameras before purchasing this one, (£130) what a disappointment!The battery/rechargeable option wasn't for me, i liked the simple looking design of this mains powered camera.That was until i saw the power cable configuration.... a complete abomination!Surely, the designer knew this cable was going to be fitted inside/outside of window/door frames.The Power Adaptor is half way along the full cable length! a full size USB plug, with a rubber shroud, plugs/screws into it from the camera, the cable from the Adaptors other side, (fixed), goes on to a moulded three pin UK plug. WTF!If you want the adaptor inside, then a massive hole round your framework is required for the USB plug.if your OK to place the Adaptor outside, (it is waterproof, but not tamper proof), then a MASSIVE hole is required for the moulded on 240v plug!Obvious solution is to cut the mains plug off, push the cable through a much smaller hole, ref-fit another plug,Thats the warranty gone!Be Warned! this camera doesn't detect motion, it detects changes in light and sound.I've played with the sensitivity setting for Days.... i still get Hundreds of notifications... all because the sun comes out from behind the clouds or vice versa.Don't start me off on the App!Everything connects OK, Alexa included,..... but what a Faff!you get there in the end, but again, totally over designed.The Cameras image quality is good, both Night and Day.i will be purchasing more mains powered cameras... but not this one!

The motion detection is very sensitive, the rain will set it off meaning you need to change the sensitivity quite often which is a pain. The picture quality is great and when the weather is mild its great. The camera also triggers when the light level changes which is also an issue especially in the morning during sunrise or a cloudy day meaning you get many false alarms.

This is a great camera great with it’s wide angle view for those who might only need a single camera solution. I absolutely recommend it if you are security conscious and need something simple to set your mind at ease. This camera can also be integrated as part of a smart home setup utilising Google . Highly recommend this camera.

Initially the camera was good, worked well and was pleased with it so I bought a second. However, both cameras have died on me and stopped responding entirely within 6 months and one has only had about 3 months of use. Draw your own conclusions from that.I'd give Zero stars if I could.

Very good camera, would be better if it had a fixed mount instead of just magnetic.

Don’t waste your money unless your interested to know what time it rains had 42 notifications throughout the night about it raining right up til 8.30.When I switched it off. At 7.30 I went to the garden twice it didn’t pick me up. Save your money buy a real camera.
