OmegonAngled Eyepiece for 90° Polar Finder-Scope

I have a SGP and was looking for an angle viewer for the polar scope. I hated contorting my back and neck just to look through the eyepiece so I had decided to purchase one of these. Oh, what a game changer. No more neck pain. This fits on the SGP eyepiece perfectly. This item is well worth it.Coming from overseas, I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Thursday using express shipment.

I purchased this to use with a Sky-Watcher. I, like others, am tired of getting down on my knees to line up the device on the North Star. This is just my first impressions of the device. I have not used it at night yet. I'll start by addressing the image I attached. On my Sky-Watcher the set screw on the angled eyepiece just barely grabs the edge of the device just above the focusing ring. As noted in the red circle, the spot where the paint is wearing off. I'm contemplating drilling and tapping a new hole in the angled finder to get a better grip on my Sky-Watcher. With the device attached and looking at objects 1/2 mile away, (maximum I can view from my home), the device appears to have reasonably sharp optics. Although, it does seem to be a little distorted toward the edges. The exit pupil is very small. So you need to have your eye positioned properly looking through the device. Especially when you try using the 2X setting. For those that are wondering. The customs declaration that was attached to my package declares the country of origin for the device as China. I'm looking forward to trying this device out at night. Hopefully soon. I will attempt to write an updated review after using it at night.

Amazon said arrival is May 11. I got it April 22 via DHL from Germany. Wow, what a service! The quality of the product is very good. I could not find any made in a country sticker. I’ll just assume it is made in Germany. Pretty pricey, but for the quality and ease of use, I can say it is worth it. I’m excited to use this for my astrophotography hobby. It fits the sky watcher star adventurer tracker. Good bye neck pain from doing polar alignments.

Appears to be a quality optic. Well made easy to attach. The 90 degree aspect is very welcome.

Great for use with MSM astrotracker sight. Saves my back ! Easy to focus.

I use a Sky-Watcher Star Adventure Pro and an EQM-35 Pro - both have fixed polar alignment sights that point down. I am forever trying to get low enough to look through and either cricking my neck or getting wet/muddy knees trying to get lower enough to look through the sight.With this angled eyepiece, polar alignment is a breeze.It's a bit pricey, but oh so worth it - cannot recommend it enough - a 5 star with hesitation

No longer stoop at the polar scope to get alignment on Polaris. This little eyepiece is very well made and works very well.Well recommended.

Excellent piece of equipment. Takes away the frustration of polar alignment and the back pain of you live in far norther latitudes!

Excellent quality with very good adjustment control, however, it is expensive for what it does.
