My favorite shampoo is the regular/original Head and Shoulders. I've used that for years and it does it's job. It always keeps my hair manageable and looking nice. I decided to try this itchy scalp formula this time. I was running out of shampoo right about the time of the seasonal change to drier weather. I was getting a little itchy and decided to try this formula of head and shoulders. It works very well. It's helping combat the itch and is keeping my scalp moisturized nicely. I don't like the scent of this as much as the original formula but it's ok. I'll go back to the original formula in the spring but I'll keep a bottle of this on had for winter months when things are dry.

My hair dresser informed me that I need to take action as scalp on the back of my head is dry and flaking. Head and Shoulders shampoo has changed since I last used it. It comes in many different scents and I purchased "green apple" and "eucalyptus" scent. "Green apple" smelled very nice (no old unpleasant scent) exactly as what I expected "Green Apple" to smell. This is my second order and I like "Eucalyptus" scent as well. It smells refreshing. Since I began using it my hair dresser told me that my scalp looks significantly better. So, it is effective and smells good - I am pleased with it. This shampoo has been an absolute godsend. I've experienced severely, chronically itchy scalp since moving to a hot and humid climate (I have long, thick hair), which was usually triggered by sweating (even if I'd just washed my hair, going outside for 1 minute to get the mail in the summer would trigger it). I had little to no flaking, but the itching was driving me insane and causing me to scratch until I was bleeding! I had purchased expensive showerhead filters to remove chlorine, bought pricy hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, and took allergy medications, with no relief. I was looking up itchy scalp remedies one night, and this shampoo popped up. I bought it out of desperation even though I didn't have significant dandruff, just itchiness. After a single use of this shampoo, my itching was 100% gone, and doesn't come back between shampoos (2-3x per week). Though I had very little flaking before using it, I have absolutely none now. When using it in the shower, it has a soothing, cooling effect on the scalp, like cool water. It feels so nice that I usually leave it in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. It lathers really well, so not much is needed. I follow it with my regular salon conditioner, and my actually hair feels even softer than before I started using this shampoo. I absolutely recommend this if you have a very itchy scalp!

From itching to feeling like there were scabs on my scalp, this shampoo cleared everything up in just a couple of uses. Left hair soft and manageable too. Highly recommend.

I recently got diagnosed with dermatitis and this itchy scalp crap is all new to me and AWFUL!! Tried RX shampoos they didn’t work and made my hair awful to brush. This stuff smells great, lathers really well and definitely worked after the first shower. I try not to wash my hair everyday.. this last 3 days with no wash and no itch. Def recommend.

This works very well with regular use to resolve dandruff. I have found it works much better than I had expected. This shampoo 2in1 has instantly helped relieve the itching. In time the flaking has decreased. This shampoo really stings if in the eyes much worse than an average shampoo in my opinion so be careful. For that reason I would not recommend for children. I have very long thick dry hair with dandruff. The olny benefit I'm getting is the relief from dandruff. I find it difficult to rinse out completely. This is excellent for the dry scalp however the length of my hair remains dry if not worse. The 2in1 while is convenient does not seem to be conditioning at all no moisturizing effects no softness and no detangling. I use this for several uses in a row to relieve my itch then switch back to my regular product. I am considering trying Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner separately to see that helps to solve the issues.
