I should’ve given my review a long time ago, this light has been amazing the light comes on and goes off by itself! The brightness has been so helpful, it recently after 4yrs of having this light it just went out! After taking it down and speaking with the company they truly validated their warranty and have a replacement on it ways! We recommend this company and product 100%

Easy to install and provides great light.

I had purchased a different security light several months ago and it was working fine. It was mounted on one of the support poles for my metal carport, aimed out toward part of the property. A few days ago it stopped working after a huge rainstorm, and it must have shorted out the dusk to dawn sensor. The sensor was integrated into the fixture so no repair. I read lots of reviews about this barn light; and after the installation I'm very pleased. One of the main reasons is that the sensor is a separate entity, and you can buy replacements. I took the suggestion from one of the reviewers and bought a 3 pack of sensors (from another company) at the same time as the light. It's sure a good thing that I did. After my handyman installed the new light, he put a towel over the sensor to test it. NOTHING. He tested the current and voltage and all was good. The sensor that came with the light was defective! And like most all of the reviewers said: This light is SUPER BRIGHT! So I highly recommend it; just plan on buying the extra sensors at the same time!

This light is of good quality and functions well. I use it for a yard light in our back yard. I replaced a 175W mercury vapor unit which served well for many years. As to why I gave it four stars instead of five? Read on. Being accustomed to the MV, I was hopeful this new one would be as good or better. This may sound odd but the new one is considerably brighter than the MV and emits a very white light compared to the bluie-ish MV. My only disappointment was that the coverage area is smaller. My yard is darker around the perimeter than it was with MV even though the new LED is much brighter. Directly underneath it’s like standing in the sun but it fades faster as you move away than the MV. I have dark corners now and didn’t with MV. I would have purchased another MV but discovered they are no longer available. Anyway, this is a good light and I’m keeping it. I like quality and function as well as the much more stylish appearance (the old MV was pretty ugly!)

Love the bright light. And price is amazing size of light is just right and was easy to install helps light up and keep people out of my yard.

Does a great job.I bought this to replace a halogen light that kept burning out transformers, got tired of dragging out the big ladder and climbing the poe to rebuild it several times only to have it go out again and again.This one has been trouble free so far, covers a little more than the old one and gives off a nice clear light. I had already replaced the backyard light with a LED light and wanted the same for the front, this one does the job.Cons.The pole supplied doesn't sit very well against a round pole, I had to bend it to the shape of the pole but found out after installation it didn't hold the pole very well, it was easily moved even after it was tightened.Had to remove it and keep bending it to fit, problem being is as you bend the outside edges it pushes the inside of the clamp away from the pole leaving it very loose, a few whacks with a big hammer finally did the trick.Great light but the clamp for the pole is made for mounting to a flat surface.

My old yard light died a couple of years ago and it was never that bright. We originally replaced it with a 200 watt solar powered light which never seemed to light up the yard very well. We recently had some trespassers/vandals at our house on three separate occasions so we decided to put up more security cameras and a better yard light as we live in a rural location.After installing the new LED barn light, the difference truly was night and day. We can see clearly now at night and much further. The whole yard is lit up well and the cameras we have can pick up intruders more easily.The install was not easy for no other reason than we used the original light pole and we wanted the light as high as possible. 25 feet high I would guess. The actual fitting of the light was simple. The light construction seemed sturdy and the the fact that it uses LED means that it won't cost much to run. I would highly recommend this light to anyone.

Installed this light 25 ft up on a pole, between house and garage, everything well back into a 100 acre woodlot. It adequately illuminates the ground in a 100+ ft radius. The provided mounting hardware made installation pretty easy. Had to hotwire the photocell to "always on", do not want light all night, just when i switch it on. Would have liked a shunt to replace the photocell, because if you just remove it, the socket is exposed to weather. Generally happy with the product. Just been using it a few weeks this spring, so no winter weather yet, but so far, so good. Dang, it's bright!

Bought this light in 2023. Needed a lift to install it in my yard so finally installed it today. Easy installation, and works great. Nice and bright. Only complaint is the lack of real instructions but other than that I’m very pleased and glad it works so well.

Awesome unit , easy to install and super bright!

I have had the light for two years but only use it for 3-4 months a year and only for 4 hours each time. It hasn’t been on for the whole of 2025 so went and took a look and found that the ballasts for the leds have burned through. Black soot and burning smell. Trying to contact the manufacturer and fell into the Amazon loop of not being able to contact any live being!!
