sin control de calidad
La instalacion relativamente es fácil, lo que indigna es que como van a vender un producto sin nigua control de calidad, me entregaron el ventilador con el blade suelto, me gaste todo el día arreglandolo

Arrived yesterday, installed today.
Just finished installing my new solar-powered attic fan. Standing next to it you can feel the heat being expelled. Installation was no problem for me though I did use longer screws then the ones supplied for attaching to the roof. It gets windy here in Oregon and I'd prefer not to lose it.

My experience not ideal.
I purchased this from Amazon, the fan came on time. Opened the box and read the instructions. I tested the unit as the instructions said and it worked fine. The instructions were great for cutting a hole in roof, and sealing the ventilator to the roof. Absolutely no instructions for mounting the solar panel to the ventilator. The instructions provided do not have a parts list so you can identify them.. The limited instructions makes reference on instruction #14 to step 3 (about removing screws) that are are obviously not in this set of instructions. There is no way to attach the solar panel to the vent as it appears to show in the marketing picture. The ventilator would work but the bracket included would require more holes in the roof to support the solar panel. That may be ok but the solar panel does not have the matching holes drilled to use the brackets. That would mean I would have to drill their panel and that would most likely void the warranty. I believe the picture is misleading, not all parts were included necessary to install the unit and the manufacturer included inadequate instructions. Updated comment. I would have liked to keep this fan as I stated above it did work and appeared to be adequate for my needs. I chose to return it, hopefully new stock will be better. The manufacturer did call later and offered to send me replacement parts and instructions.

Really loud and the solar panel requires full sun, ...
Really loud and the solar panel requires full sun, even the shade from your hand reduces the output significantly.

NOT WHAT IT IS ADVERTISED TO BE.... wow.
Well, I helped my neighbor install his Amtrak solar fan, which actually was not a hard job....but it takes some time and caution as you are on a hot roof. In my opinion, the exhaust air vent opening is way to close to the roof shingles for efficient airflow out, which makes it very INEFFICIENT.Next, it really didn't seem all that powerful, and it says the panel is 70W output, and I noted almost every other solar vent on amazon was 30w or less. So...I put a electrical test meter on it. Guess what....only 29W !!! Yes...41 W less than they advertise. I guess they figure no American would bother to test it. This was done under FULL sunshine.I was going to buy 2 for my own house, and helped my friend and neighbor to also learn the difficulty factor and pitfalls to be prepared for. What I learned was to buy from someone else when I make my decision and TEST it FIRST before I cut a hole in my roof and get ripped off like he did.
