The material of the pads is stiffer, softer, and more durable than the ones that came on my Marcy (MWB-2001 manufactured by IMPEX). I like these a lot for leg extensions and curls as the foam doesn't hurt my legs and it's held up great over the past 1-2 months (since I purchased). I would highly recommend and they DID come as a PAIR without any problems from the seller.
