These things are great! Yes, they can seem to be confusing to put together but just take your time and look at the instructions and pictures they send. It is a single sheet of paper and it seems like a lot but it's really not. The material is made of a plastic mesh, They are for indoor/outdoor so yeah they have to be made of something that will last outdoors, be able to get wet, etc. They are semi-see-through but also block the sun. We have ours on our gazebo facing the pool so this is perfect. We can lower it to block the sun and still see the pool area. Usually I lower mine just enough to block the sun from hitting my face and still see under it. We wanted one long one but the price was ridiculous for a custom-made one ($1000+)so we opted for getting 2 of these and it worked just as well. The best part is that it was only about 120 for both! Money in the bank!Screw the rods together, slide them through the top and two bottom sections. Mark off where you want your pulleys. Anchor your pulleys. Anchor your curtain to the clips...then the fun part. Look at the diagram for the rope. If you follow the arrows on the diagram you can have your rope on in less than 2 minutes. They literally even have a video you can watch on this product page for the rope. It's not hard. The one-star review I read made me laugh just because of the simple fact they got what was advertised and then gave the product a one-star because they were too lazy to figure it out. The product, based on the price is 5 stars for me. It's exactly as advertised. Just take your time installing them and you will be enjoying some much-needed shade as well.

This item was 98 dollars, not cheap by any means but not super costly either. what I got in the package amounted to about 7 dollars in cheap see through plastic tarp and several sections of bent steel rod. The hanging clips are a joke and a roll of cord. There are no directions whatsoever. Then there is the design.... a pulley system that requires a engineering degree to figure out and if I wanted to spend the time to figure out and the time to install would likely not last through the first 20 MPH gust even rolled up. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

I really love the Patio Paradise Roll up Shades Roller Shade 7'Wx6'H. The shade cuts down on the bright afternoon sun on our patio. It was not difficult to install after reading the instructions. I chose the brown shade and I am very satisfied.

I found the directions that came with it was so confusing. I had to go on here and look at the directions. This almost caused a divorce lol jkIt was a battle though, He just wouldn't listen to me 🤣

Great shade. Needed something specific in size and means of attachment (mounts on wall, not ceiling) for our pergola project. This shade was relatively easy to install. Directions were clear, pulleys would not stay on mounting screws until I bent them and changed the angle a little, then they were fine. Rolls up and down easily, and provides great shade!! Can not comment on long term durability as we have only had it a few weeks, but feels well made. I plan to bring it into the house for storage in the winter. The way it installs makes that very easy. They offer this is many sizes and colors. We live the light gray! Overall very happy with this purchase!

Looks great. More of a shade, more see through in daytime than expected, but perfect for my needs.Was easy to put up, about 3 hours for 2 shades, but most of that was deciding exactly where to put them.All parts were in both packages including instructions that were clear enough for me.

Overall, very happy with my purchase. Came folded up, put the metal rods together, used a little oil on the threads and they screwed together easier.I simply hung mine up using the two main hanger pieces.When not in use, I use the two bungie cords after I roll the shade up by hand for days not in use or high winds. Material seems decent, and it honestly works quiet well on my deck that faces the evening sun.I’m sitting out on my deck right now as I’m writing this, grilling out and enjoying the fact this shade makes my space usable in the afternoon/evenings!

The blind is well made and not too bad to hang if you follow the directions. I like the fact that it comes with small bungie cords for the bottom of the blind so they don't flap around when a sudden wind happens.
